4876152145D1A022105PERBANDINGAN KECEPATAN ANGIN, DENSITY, UNIFORMITY, DENGAN PBBH PADA AYAM BIBIT INDUK PEDAGING BETINA UMUR 11 DAN 12 MINGGUPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh faktor lingkungan berupa kecepatan angin, kepadatan (density), dan keseragaman (uniformity) terhadap pertambahan bobot badan harian (PBBH) ayam bibit induk pedaging betina pada umur 11 dan 12 minggu. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada peternakan broiler breeder dengan sistem kandang tertutup (closed house) di bawah naungan PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk, Unit Subang 1, selama periode September–Oktober 2024. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung dan pencatatan performa ayam di enam kandang dengan kondisi manajemen seragam. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif, korelasi Pearson, dan uji t-berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata PBBH meningkat signifikan dari 90,50 ± 5,72 g/ekor/minggu pada umur 11 minggu menjadi 99,33 ± 5,68 g/ekor/minggu (p = 0,048). Hubungan antara kecepatan angin, density, dan uniformity terhadap PBBH tidak signifikan (p > 0,05). Peningkatan PBBH seiring bertambahnya umur menunjukkan fase pertumbuhan merupakan masa pertumbuhan aktif ayam bibit induk pedaging. Faktor lingkungan belum berpengaruh nyata, namun tetap berperan penting dalam menjaga kenyamanan termal dan performa ayam.This study aimed to compare the effects of environmental factors such as wind speed, density, and uniformity on the daily body weight gain (PBBH) of female broiler breeder chickens at 11 and 12 weeks of age. The research was conducted at a broiler breeder farm using a closed house system under PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk, Subang Unit 1, from September to October 2024. Data were collected through direct observation and performance recording of six houses under identical management. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and paired t-test were applied. Results showed that the average PBBH increased significantly from 90.50 ± 5.72 g/bird/week at week 11 to 99.33 ± 5.68 g/bird/week at week 12 (p = 0.048). Correlations between wind speed, density, and uniformity with PBBH were not significant (p > 0.05). The increase in PBBH with age indicates that the grower phase is a critical period for broiler breeder development. Environmental factors, although not significant, remain essential for maintaining thermal comfort and flock performance.
