| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Tren kasus skizofrenia di RSUD Kabupaten Banyumas meningkat signifikan, sehingga penelaahan karakteristik pasien diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan perencanaan tindakan klinis. Tujuan: Mengetahui karakteristik demografi, perjalanan penyakit, dan kemampuan fungsional terkini pasien skizofrenia di Poli Jiwa RSUD Banyumas. Metode: Studi kuantitatif deskriptif univariat ini melibatkan 99 pasien skizofrenia yang dipilih melalui simple random sampling pada tahun 2025 menggunakan kuesioner, dilanjutkan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil: Mayoritas pasien laki-laki (65,83%), usia produktif 46-55 tahun (26.26%), berpendidikan SMA (37,47%), dan belum menikah (54,55%). Sebagian besar merupakan pasien kronis >4 tahun (59,60%) dengan terapi kombinasi >3 jenis obat (80,81%). Secara fungsional, mayoritas pasien mampu bersosialisasi (84,85%), bekerja (71,72%), dan mandiri dalam ADL (96,97%). Kesimpulan: Pasien didominasi laki-laki usia produktif, lulusan SMA, belum menikah, dan fase kronis dengan terapi kombonasi obat. Meski demikian, tingkat kemandirian dan keberfungsionalan psikososial pasien secara umum tergolong sangat baik. |

Inggris) | Background: Schizophrenia cases at Banyumas Regional Hospital have increased significantly, making patient characteristic analysis essential to optimize future clinical planning. Objective: To identify the demographic characteristics, disease course, and current functional status of schizophrenia patients at the Psychiatric Clinic of Banyumas Regional Hospital. Methods: This quantitative descriptive univariate study involved 99 schizophrenia patients selected via simple random sampling in 2025 using questionnaires, followed by descriptive quantitative analysis. Results: The majority of patients were male (65.83%), in the productive age range of 46–55 years (26.26%), high school educated (37.47%), and unmarried (54.55%). Most were chronic patients with an illness duration of >4 years (59.60%) receiving combination drug therapy with >3 types of medications (80.81%). Functionally, the majority of patients were capable of socializing (84.85%), working (71.72%), and being independent in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) (96.97%). Conclusion: Patients are predominantly working-age males, high school graduates, unmarried, and in a chronic phase with combination drug therapy.. Nevertheless, their overall independence and psychosocial functioning are excellent. |
