| Judul Artikel | HUBUNGAN KELUHAN MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS (MSDs) DENGAN KINERJA PERAWAT DI RUANG INSTALASI GAWAT DARURAT (IGD) |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Background: Emergency Department (ED) nurses are at a high risk of developing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) due to heavy workloads and physically demanding tasks. MSDs can reduce technical proficiency, increase fatigue, and lead to higher rates of absenteeism and sick leave, all of which may negatively affect nurse performance. This study aims to examine the relationship between MSDs complaints and the performance of nurses in the ED at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Regional General Hospital. Methods: This study employed a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted in the ED at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Regional General Hospital, involving 32 nurses selected through a total sampling technique. MSDs complaints were measured using the Nordic Body Map (NBM), while performance was assessed using the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ). The relationship between the two variables was analyzed using Somers’ D test. Result: The majority of respondents experienced mild MSDs complaints, accounting for 84.4%, while 40.63% demonstrated high performance levels. The bivariate test results showed no significant relationship between MSD complaints and nurse performance (p = 0.225, D = -0.202). Conclusion: Musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) complaints experienced by nurses have no significant relationship with nurse performance in the emergency department. |
