Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang. Penelitian ini berjudul “Perbedaan Performa Produksi Ayam
Broiler Fase Starter pada Kepadatan Kandang yang Berbeda di Kandang
Riswiyadi Farm Kebumen” Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbedaan
performa produksi ayam broiler fase starter dengan kepadatan kandang yang
berbeda pada kandang Riswiyadi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 40 hari
pada tanggal 17 September s.d 27 Oktober 2024 di kandang closed house
Riswiyadi, Desa Wonosari, Kecamatan Kebumen, Kabupaten Kebumen, Jawa
Tengah. Materi dan Metode. Materi yang digunakan yaitu ayam broiler strain
cobb dengan populasi 54.439 ekor, pakan yang digunakan yaitu pre-starter S00
pada umur 1-11 hari dan starter S11 pada umur 12-21 hari. Metode Analisis yang
digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu independent T-Test. Variabel yang diteliti
yaitu Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR), Mortalitas dan Bobot badan. Hasil. Hasil
pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai FCR selama fase starter pada
kandang dengan kepadatan 46 ekor/m2 sebesar 1,14+0,08 sedangkan pada
kepadatan 44 ekor/m2 sebesar 1,06+0,13. Hasil pengukuran mortalitas pada fase
starter kandang dengan kepadatan 46 ekor/m2 adalah 0,90+0,49% sedangkan
pada kepadatan kandang 44 ekor/m2 sebesar 0,87+0,44%. Hasil pengukuran
bobot badan selama fase starter pada kepadatan kandang 46 ekor/m2 sebesar
537+375,33 g sedangkan pada kepadatan kandang 44 ekor/m2 menunjukan hasil
sebesar 533,4+373,65 g. Simpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan uji
T, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepadatan kandang berpengaruh signifikan
terhadap nilai Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) ayam broiler fase starter, di mana
kepadatan 46 ekor/m² menghasilkan FCR yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan 44
ekor/m². Sementara itu, tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap
angka mortalitas dan bobot badan antara kedua tingkat kepadatan tersebut.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Background. This research is entitled "Differences in Starter Phase Broiler
Chicken Production Performance at Different Cage Densities in Riswiyadi Farm
Kebumen" This research aims to examine the differences in starter phase broiler
chicken production performance with different cage densities in Riswiyadi's
cage. This study was conducted for 40 days from September 17 to October 27,
2024 in a closed cage at Riswiyadi's house, Wonosari Village, Kebumen District,
Kebumen Regency, Central Java. Materials and Methods. The analysis method
used in this study is the independent T-Test. The materials used were broiler
strain cobb chickens with a population of 54,439, the feed used was pre-starter
S00 at the age of 1-11 days and starter S11 at the age of 12-21 days. The variables
studied were Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), Mortality and Body Weight. Results.
The measurement results showed that the average FCR value during the starter

phase in a cage with a density of 46 birds/m2 was 1.14+0.08 while at a density of
44 birds/m2 it was 1.06+0.13. The results of mortality measurements in the
starter phase of the cage with a density of 46 birds/m2 were 0.90+0.49% while
at a density of 44 birds/m2 it was 0.87+0.44%. The results of body weight
measurements during the starter phase at a cage density of 46 birds/m2 were
537+375.33 g while at a cage density of 44 birds/m2 showed results of
533.4+373.65 g. Conclusion. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, it can be
concluded that cage density has a significant effect on the Feed Conversion Ratio
(FCR) of broiler chickens during the starter phase, where a density of 46
birds/m² resulted in a higher FCR compared to 44 birds/m². In contrast, there
were no significant differences in mortality rate and body weight between the
two density levels.
