| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media wordwall terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto. Permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam mata pelajaran Ekonomi menjadi dasar dilaksanakannya penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Wordwall terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode quasi experimental design dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI F4 SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto yang mengambil mata pelajaran Ekonomi, berjumlah 108 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 72 siswa yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, masing-masing terdiri dari 36 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi tes pilihan ganda, wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U-test untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara kedua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan wordwal lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah sekolah dapat mendorong guru untuk memilih model dan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan tidak monoton dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, seperti penggunaan model PBL berbantuan wordwall. Guru juga dapat mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa serta membantu mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam aspek FRISCO melalui penerapan model pembelajaran tersebut. Siswa dapat terdorong untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif dan memberikan kontribusi dalam proses pembelajaran melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan wordwall. |

Inggris) | This study discusses the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by wordwall media on the critical thinking skills of SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto students. The problem of low critical thinking skills of students in the subject of Economics is the basis for the implementation of this research. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Wordwall on students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is a quantitative research that uses the quasi experimental design method with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this studyis all students of grade XI F4 SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto who took the subject of Economics, totaling 108 students. The sample in this study was determined through purposive sampling techniques based on certain criteria. The number of samples was 72 students which were divided into two groups, namely the control class and the experimental class, each consisting of 36 students. The data collection techniques in this study included multiple-choice tests, interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The hypothesis test in this study used the Mann-Whitney U-test to determine the difference in critical thinking skills between the two groups. The results showed that the critical thinking skills of students who used the Problem Based Learning model assisted by wordwall were higher than students who used the conventional learning model. The implication of this study is that schools can encourage teachers to choose interesting and non-monotonous learning models and media in order to improve students' critical thinking skills, such as the use of the wordwall-assisted PBL model. Teachers can also encourage students' active participation and help develop critical thinking skills in the FRISCO aspect through the application of the learning model. Students can be encouraged to actively participate and contribute to the learning process through the use of the wordwall-assisted PBL learning model. |
