Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Latar Belakang: Kabupaten Banyumas pada tahun 2023 jumlah anak tunagrahita dengan retardasi
mental tercatat sebanyak 134 anak. Anak tunagrahita mengalami keterlambatan dalam kematangan
intelektual yang menyebabkan kondisi mental juga mengalami keterlambatan, sehingga
mengganggu kesejahteraan psikologis anak tunagrahita.
Tujuan: Menggambarkan Kesejahteraan Psikologis Anak Tunagrahita di SLB Aisyiyah Al Walidah
Kecamatan Ajibarang.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam.
Terdapat 5 informan utama dan 4 informan pendukung dengan menggunakan analisis data Interaktif
Miles dan Huberman. Subjek penelitian adalah anak SDLB tuna grahita yang bertempat tinggal di
Kecamatan Aibarang.
Hasil: Dimensi konsep Psychological Well Being, informasi yang dikaji beragam, namun sebagian
besar informan menyatakan penerimaan diri hampir belum muncul, hubungan positif dengan orang
lain lebih baik, belum mandiri, penguasaan lingkungan pasif, tidak memiliki tujuan hidup dan
pertumbuhan pribadi lambat.
Kesimpulan: Anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB Aisyiyah AL Walidah Kecamatan Ajibarang
belum semuanya terpenuhi kesejahteraan psikologisnya, Diperlukan peningkatan pembelajaran
yang lebih interaktif di SLB disertai dukungan yang maksimal dari orang tua anak.

Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Background: Banyumas Regency in 2023 the number of mentally disabled children will be
recorded at 134 children. Children with intellectual disabilities experience delays in intellectual
maturity which causes their mental condition to also experience delays, thus disrupting the
psychological well-being of children with intellectual disabilities.
Objective: To describe the psychological well-being of mentally retarded children at SLB Aisyiyah
Al Walidah, Ajibarang District.
Method: This research uses qualitative research with in-depth interview methods. There were 5
main informants and 4 supporting informants using Miles and Huberman Interactive data analysis.
The research subjects were mentally disabled SDLB children who live in Ajibarang District.
Results: Dimensions of the Psychological Well Being concept, the information studied varied, but
the majority of informants stated that self-acceptance was just emerging, positive relationships with
other people were better, not yet independent, passive mastery of the environment, no life goals and
slow personal growth.
Conclusion: Children with special needs at SLB Aisyiyah AL Walidah, Ajibarang District, have
not yet fully met their psychological well-being, so it is necessary to improve learning at SLB which
is more interactive accompanied by maximum support from the children's parents.
