MANAJEMEN PEMELIHARAN AYAM PETELUR DI SUGIYONO FARM DESA BOJONG KECAMATAN MREBET KABUPATEN PURBALINGGA

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui pengolahan manajemen pemeliharaan ayam petelur. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam betina petelur yang dipelihara menerapkan jenis kandang open house semi permanen dan menggunakan sistem kandang baterai dengan luas kandang 1900 m2 pada luas tanah 2500 m2 . Memiliki 7 kandangdengan total kapasitas 14.000 ekor. Masing-masing kandang memiliki kapasitas yang berbeda-beda. Kandang no. 1 berkapasitas 3.000 ekor, kandang no. 2 berkapasitas 1.000 ekor, kandang no. 3 berkapasitas 2.000 ekor, kandang no. 4 berkapasitas 2.000 ekor, kandang no. 5 berkapasitas 2.000 ekor, kandang no. 6 berkapasitas 2.000 ekor, dan kandang no. 7 berkapasitas 2.000 ekor. Variable diamati adalah pemeliharaan, FCR, pengolahan produksi, pendapatan, dan R/C. Penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi persiapan kandang, pengambilan telur, pemberian pakan dan air minum, pengadukan pakan, pembersihan tempat pakan dan minum, penjualan telur, dan wawancara terhadap pemilik farm serta teknisi kandang. Ayam yang diamati adalah strain ayam Isa Brown, pengamatan dilakukan di Sugiyono Farm, Kecamatan Mrebet, Kabupaten Purbalingga, Jawa Tengah. Rata-rata FCR yang didapatkan pada usia 76 minggu yaitu 2,77 dimana tergolong kurang ekonomis, dan rata-rata HDP 69,3%. Daya simpan telur di Sugiyono Farm berkisaran 12-14 hari. Keuntungan yang diperoleh dalam 1 periode yaitu Rp 515.005.000. Hal ini menjadikan bahwasanya usaha ini layak untuk dijalankan dan diteruskan. R/C diperoleh 1,15 dengan rentabilitas 10,4%, dan Payback Period 9,5 periode.

The purpose of this study was to examine the management practices of layer chicken farming. The subjects used were layer hens kept in a semi-permanent open-house type poultry house, using a battery cage system with a total cage area of 1,900 m² on a land area of 2,500 m². The farm consists of seven poultry houses with a total capacity of 14,000 birds. Each house has a different capacity: House No. 1 holds 3,000 birds, House No. 2 holds 1,000 birds, House No. 3 holds 2,000 birds, House No. 4 holds 2,000 birds, House No. 5 holds 2,000 birds, House No. 6 holds 2,000 birds, and House No. 7 holds 2,000 birds. The variables observed included maintenance, FCR, production management, income, and R/C ratio. The study covered activities such as cage preparation, egg collection, feeding and watering, feed mixing, cleaning of feeders and drinkers, egg sales, and interviews with the farm owner and poultry house technicians. The chickens observed were of the Isa Brown strain, and the research was conducted at Sugiyono Farm, Mrebet District, Purbalingga Regency, Central Java. The average FCR obtained at 76 weeks of age was 2.77, which is considered less economical, and the average HDP was 69.3%. The egg shelf life at Sugiyono Farm ranged from 12 to 14 days. The profit earned in one production cycle was IDR 515,005,000, indicating that this business is feasible to operate and sustain. The R/C ratio obtained was 1.15, with a profitability of 10.4% and a payback period of 9.5 cycles.
