Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) pengaruh intensitas menonton tayangan televisi terhadap prestasi belajar kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto; (2) pengaruh bermain gawai terhadap prestasi belajar kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto; (3) pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap prestasi belajar kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto  dengan sampel sebanyak 150 siswa.

Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Intensitas Menonton Tayangan Televisi berpengaruh negatif terhadap Prestasi Belajar kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto, artinya semakin rendahnya intensitas menonton televisi akan menjadikan waktu belajar menjadi lebih banyak dan berdampak pada naiknya prestasi belajar siswa; (2) Bermain Gawai berpengaruh negatif terhadap Prestasi Belajar kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto, artinya rendahnya bermain gawai berdampak pada banyakya waktu untuk belajar dan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa; (3) Lingkungan Keluarga berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto, artinya dukungan yang diberikan orang tua agar anaknya belajar memberikan dampak yang baik bagi kelangsungan kenaikan prestasi belajar siswa.

This study aims to analyze: (1) the effect of the intensity of watching television on the learning achievement of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto; (2) the effect of playing with gadgets on learning achievement for class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto; (3) the influence of the family environment on the learning achievement of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto.
This research is a survey research with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto with a sample of 150 students.
The results of this study are: (1) Intensity of watching television has a negative effect on learning achievement for class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto, meaning that the lower the intensity of watching television will make learning time more and have an impact on increasing student achievement; (2) Playing gadgets has a negative effect on learning achievement for class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto, meaning that the lack of playing with gadgets has an impact on the amount of time to study and can improve student achievement; (3) Family environment has a positive effect on learning achievement for class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto, meaning that the support given by parents so that their children learn has a good impact on the continuity of increasing student achievement.
