TOTAL SOLID DAN SOLID NON FAT SUSU DI KELOMPOK PETERNAK SAPI PERAH KECAMATAN CILONGOK KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karaktersitik peternak, kadar total solid, solid non fat serta hubungan antara total solid dan solid non fat dikelompok peternak sapi perah Andini Lestari I dan Andini Lestari II. Sasaran penelitian yaitu 13 peternak Andini Lestari I dan 7 peternak Andini Lestari II. Materi yang digunakan adalah ternak sapi perah dengan pengambilan sampel susu pada pemerahan pagi hari secara komposit sebanyak 1 liter pada masing-masing peternak. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei. Hasil penelitian karakteristik peternak menggunakan analisis deskriptif dikelompok Andini Lestari I menunjukkan bahwa presentase pengalaman beternak dan lamanya menjadi anggota kelompok >10 tahun (54%) dan keaktifan peternak (77%), sedangkan kelompok Andini Lestari II pengalaman beternak dan lamanya menjadi anggota kelompok >10 tahun (71%) dan keaktifan peternak (57%). Hasil analisis data uji kualitas susu menggunakan uji âtâ dengan rataan total solid dan solid non fat dikedua kelompok tidak memiliki perbedaan yang nyata (P>0,05). Hubungan antara kadar total solid dan solid non fat dikelompok Andini Lestari I dan Andini Lestari II dikategorikan kuat dengan nilai kolerasi masing-masing yaitu R=0,825 dan R=0,638. Kesamaan hasil rataan kadar total solid dan solid non fat susu disebabkan informasi serta pelatihan yang relatif sama pada kedua kelompok.

The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of farmers, the levels of total solid, solid non-fat, and the relationship between total solid and solid non-fat in dairy farmers of group Andini Lestari I and Andini Lestari II. Participant of the study were 13 farmers in Andini Lestari I and 7 farmers in Andini Lestari II. The materials used were of dairy cows. Sampling of milk were collected in the morning composite by 1 liters in each farmers. Survey method was used to identify characteristics of farmers in both group. Descriptive analysis in Andini Lestari I shows that more than 54% of the respondens have experience >10 years, 75% were considered as active members. Then in Andini Lestari II 71% have experience >10 years and only 57% of the members were considered as active. The results of the analysis of milk quality using "t" test with the average of total solid and solid non-fat in both groups had no significant differences (P> 0.05). The relationship between the levels of total solid and solid non fat in group Andini Lestari I is categorized strong with correlation the value of each is R = 0.825 and R = 0.638. The similarity of the average levels of total solid and solid non fat milk because the information and training that are relatively similar in both groups.
