| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah memberikan dampak besar pada sektor industri komunikasi dan menghasilkan konvergensi. Beberapa dari masyarakat beralih pada berita berbasis web karena lebih mudah diakses serta menyajikan informasi yang real time. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai yang dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh mengakses portal berita online terhadap minat membaca koran mahasiswa di Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 mahasiswa aktif Universitas Jendral Soedirman di enam fakultas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh selama penelitian berlangsung, didapatkan beberapa hasil. Pertama, hasil analisis uji R2 menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh mengakses portal berita online terhadap minat membaca koran mahasiswa aktif Universitas Jendral Soedirman sebesar 78%. Kedua, diperoleh angka signifikansi sebesar 0,005 dan persamaan y = 24,147 - 157x. Ketiga, aspek-aspek yang dimiliki portal berita online ternyata memberi pengaruh bagi mahasiswa aktif Universitas Jendral Soedirman dalam minat membaca koran. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The development of information and communication technology give a major impact on the sector of the communication industry. Some of the people turn to use web-based news because it is more accessible and presents a real time information. The objectives of this research is knowing how much influence accessing news portals to interest in reading newspaper the student at the General Soedirman University. Respondents in this study were 100 students of the General Soedirman University studying in six different faculties. This research used descriptive quantitative approach.This research used simple linear regression technique to analyze the data.. Based on the data during the research, some results are obtained. First, the results of the analysis test R2 was 0.78, which means the effect of accessing the online news portal for the student interest in reading newspapers is 78%, while the remaining 22% is influenced by other non-tested variables. Second, the significance number reach 0,005, which means the hypothesis is accepted. Then, the result of simple liniar regression obtained the equation y = 24,147 - 157x. Third, aspects of which are owned news portal it gives effect to the active student in the General Soedirman University interest in reading newspapers. |
