| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tanaman air merupakan bahan baku alternatif dalam pembuatan pellet ikan karena mempunyai nilai gizi tinggi. Tujuan penelitian, mengetahui pengaruh pellet berbahan baku tanaman air terhadap pertumbuhan mutlak dan retensi protein ikan gurami dan pellet berbahan baku tanaman air terbaik. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yaitu P0 (pellet tanpa tanaman air), P1 (pellet berbahan baku Azolla microphylla), P2 (pellet berbahan baku Lemna minor) dan P3 (pellet berbahan baku Hydrilla verticillata). Gurami dipelihara selama 30 hari dengan dosis pemberian pakan 2% dari biomassa ikan. Variabel yang diamati yaitu pertumbuhan mutlak dan retensi protein. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pertumbuhan mutlak dan retensi protein tidak berbeda (P>0,05) diantara perlakuan yang dicobakan. Pertumbuhan mutlak P0 (1,33±0,35 g), P1 (0,71±0,53 g), P2 (1,24±0,74 g) dan P3 (0,75±0,17 g), retensi protein P0 (7,91±19,50%), P1 (6,78±10,95%), P2 (7,24±18,88%) dan P3 (5,20±12,35%). Ikan gurami yang diberi pellet berbahan baku Azolla microphylla, Lemna minor, dan Hydrilla verticillata memiliki respon yang sama terhadap pertumbuhan dan retensi protein ikan gurami dengan pellet tanpa tanaman air. Tepung Azolla microphylla, Lemna minor, dan Hydrilla verticillata dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan pellet ikan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Aquatic plant is an alternative of raw materials in making of fish pellets because it has high nutritional value. The aims of this research were to know the influence of pellets were made by water plants for absolute growth, protein retention of giant gouramy, and the best pellets were made by aquatic plants. The study used an experimental methods. The research was arranged by completely randomized design with four treatments and four repetition. There were four treatments, P0 (pellets without aquatic plant), P1 (pellets which made by Azolla microphylla), P2 (pellets which made by Lemna minor), and P3 (pellets which made by Hydrilla verticillata). The fishes was maintained for 30 days with a dose of feeding 2% from fish biomass. There were two variables was observed, absolute growth and protein retention. The results showed that absolute growth and protein retention were not significant (P>0,05) among the treatment which tested. Absolute growth of P0 (1,33±0,35 g), P1 (0,71±0,53 g), P2 (1,24±0,74 g) and P3 (0,75±0,17 g), protein retention P0 (7,91±19,50%), P1 (6,78±10,95%), P2 (7,24±18,88%) and P3 (5,20±12,35%). The giant gouramy fed pellets was made by Azolla microphylla, Lemna minor, and Hydrilla verticillata have the same response for growth value and protein retention value with the giant gouramy fed pellets without aquatic plant. The flour of Azolla microphylla, Lemna minor, and Hydrilla verticillata can be used raw materials in making of fish pellets. |
