| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Mangrove memiliki fungsi yang berpotensi dalam menyimpan karbon. Mangrove dibatasi suplai unsur hara seperti nitrat dan fosfat berfungsi sebagai energi untuk fotosintesis dan pertumbuhan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan nitrat dan fosfat, potensi karbon yang tersimpan, dan hubungan antara kandungan nitrat dan fosfat terhadap potensi karbon mangrove. Lokasi penelitian terdiri atas 4 stasiun, lokasi penelitian bertempat di Kawasan Sungai Donan Segara Anakan, Cilacap. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan line transek, teknik pengambilan sampel statifield sampling. Parameter lingkungan yang diukur yaitu suhu, salinitas, pH, oksigen terlarut, tekstur tanah, nitrat, dan fosfat. Data dianalisis dan dibandingkan secara deskriptif komparatif serta melihat hubungan korelasi dan regresi. Jenis mangrove yang terdapat pada lokasi penelitian seperti jenis Aegiceras corniculatum, Avicennia marina, Bruguiera sexagula, Ceriops tagal, Nypa sp, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata, dan Sonneratia cassiolaris. Kandungan nitrat berkisar 8-38,8 mg/kg, fosfat berkisar 3-6,34 ppm, dan totaal karbon berkisar 46,16-140,63 ton/ha. Hubungan kandungan nitrat dan fosfat sedimen memiliki keeratan yang nyata terhadap potensi karbon mangrove yang tersimpan. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Mangroves have many functions including to sequestrate carbon as carbon sink. Mangrove has limited supplier of nutrient such as nitrate and phosphate, which has function as energy to photosynthesize and grow. This research is aimed to know nitrate and phosphate contents, carbon sink and relationship between nitrate and phosphate with carbon mangrove. This research area was devided into four stations, which included Donan River, Segara Anakan Lagoon, Cilacap. The methods of this research was stratified sampling. Environmental variables were temperature, salinity, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, soil texture, nitrate and phosphate. Data were analysed and compared by comparative descriptive correlation and regression. Mangrove species were found in research location were Aegiceras corniculatum, Avicennia marina, Brugueira sexagula, Ceiops rtagal, Nypa sp, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata, and Sonneratia cassiolaris. Nitrate content in location ranged from 8 to 38.8 mg/kg, phosphate range from 3 to 6.34 ppm, and carbon total ranged from 46.16 to 140.63 ton/are. The relationship between nitrate and phosphate of the sediments had significant carbon sink. |
