| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan bobot non karkas luar (darah, kepala, kaki, kulit dan bulu)domba berdasarkan jenis kelamin, (2)hubungan antara masing-masing bobot non karkas luar (darah, kepala, kaki, kulit dan bulu) dengan bobot potong. Penelitian dilaksanakan diwilayah Bumiayu Kabupaten Brebes. Jumlah ternak yang diteliti 30 ekor domba betina dan 10 ekor domba jantan.Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei kemudian di analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji t dan analisis regresilinear. Variabel yang diamati bobot potong, bobot non karkas luar (darah, kepala, kaki, kulit dan bulu) dan persentase non karkas luar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rataan bobot potong betina (20,00±0,63)kg dan rataan bobot potong jantan (24,19±0,67)kg. Hasil uji t menunjukan berbeda nyata pada semua variabel yaitu bobot potong, darah, kepala, kaki, kulit dan bulu. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukan bahwa bobot potong dipengaruhi oleh darah sebesar 64,00 %, kepala 50,00, kaki 63,00 serta kulit dan bulu 58,00 %. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan non karkas luar pada domba serta terdapat hubungan antara bobot non karkas luar dengan bobot potong domba.

Inggris) | The purpose of the study were to kwon(1)the differences external non-carcass weight (blood, head, feet, and skin) of sheep based on sex, (2) to determine the relationship between each of the external non-carcass weights (blood, head, feet, and skin) of the slaughterweight. The study seller in Brebes region, the number of animals studied consists of 30 heads of females and 10 heads of males sheep. The study was observe survey and then analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test and linear regression analysis. Variables observed were the slaughterweight, the weight of external non-carcass (blood, head, feet, and skin) and percentage of externalnon-carcass. The results of the experiment showed that the average slaughterweight of females (20.00 ± 0.63)kg and males (24.19 ± 0.67)kg. The results of the t test showed that there were significant a differences on all the variables to the slaughterweight, blood, head, feet, and skin. Regression analysis showed that theslaughterweightof sheep based on the sex influenced by the blood of 64.00 %, heads 50.00, feet 63.00, and of skin 58.00 %. The conclusion of this research that there was significantly differences beetwen the external non-carccas and their was relationship between the weight of external non-carcass with slaughterweight of sheep.
