| Judul Artikel | PENGARUH SENAM AEROBIK TERHADAP KADAR SUPEROXIDE DISMUTASE PADA WANITA DEWASA DI SANGGAR SENAM SISCA’S PURWOKERTO |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAK Latar Belakang. Saat ini mayoritas masyarakat lebih memilih menggunakan kendaraan bermotor dibandingkan dengan berjalan kaki atau bersepeda, hal ini berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan jumlah kendaraan bermotor di kota-kota besar. Jumlah kendaraan bermotor yang meningkat memicu produksi radikal bebas yang berlebihan, radikal bebas sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan tubuh dan dapat memicu terjadinya berbagai macam penyakit seperti kanker dan jantung koroner. Salah satu cara menangkal radikal bebas adalah dengan meningkatkan kadar antioksidan di dalam tubuh atau antioksidan endogen seperti Superoxide Dismutase (SOD). Latihan fisik diduga dapat meningkatkan kadar antioksidan di dalam tubuh, salah satu bentuk latihan fisik yang digemari saat adalah Senam Aerobik. Tujuan. Mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh senam aerobik terhadap kadar superoxide dismutase ? Metodologi Penelitian. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Experimental dengan pre and post test design pada 18 subjek diambil dengan Consequtive sampling. Subjek Penelitian diberikan intervensi Senam Aerobik 3x per minggu dengan durasi 60 menit selama 12 minggu. Kadar SOD diukur sebelum dan setelah intervensi senam aerobik dengan analisis data Saphiro-Wilk dan menggunakan uji statistik Wilcoxon. Hasil. Terdapat pengaruh bermakna Senam Aerobik terhadap kadar SOD (p = 0,002). Kadar SOD setelah intervensi Senam Aerobik setelah 12 minggu meningkat dari 1385,0 U/g Hb (1115,2 – 1470,3 U/g Hb) menjadi 1506,0 U/g Hb (1180,4 – 1660,9 U/g Hb). Kesimpulan. Terdapat pengaruh Senam Aerobik terhadap kadar SOD. |

Inggris) | ABSTRACT Background Nowadays most of people prefer to use a motor vehicle as compared to walking or cycling, it is directly proportional to the increase in the number of motor vehicles in big cities. The number of motor vehicles increased triggers excessive production of free radicals, free radicals are very harmful to the health of the body and can lead to various diseases such as cancer and coronary heart disease. One way of counteracting free radicals is by increasing the levels of antioxidants in the body or endogenous antioxidants such as superoxide dismutase (SOD). Exercise is allegedly to increase levels of antioxidants in the body, a form of exercise that is popular today is aerobic dance. Purpose. Determine whether there was influenced of aerobic dance on levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD) ? Research Methods. This study used an experimental method with pre and post test design while 18 subjectts were taken with a sampling consequtive sampling. Subjects given Aerobic Dance intervention 3 times a week with duration of 60 minutes for 12 weeks. SOD levels were measured before and after Aerobic Dance intervention with Saphiro-Wilk data analysis and statistics using the Wilcoxon test. Results. There were significant levels of SOD on Aerobic Dance intervention (p = 0,002). SOD levels after Aerobic Dance intervention after 12 weeks increase from 1385,0 U/g Hb (1115,2 – 1470,3 U/g Hb) became 1506,0 U/g Hb (1180,4 – 1660,9 U/g Hb). Conclusions. There were Aerobic dance influence on SOD levels. |
