Indonesia) | ABSTRAK TINJAUAN YURIDIS TERHADAP PEMILIHAN UMUM LEGISLATIF TAHUN 2014 Oleh : WINDA RISMAYANTI EIA007400 Implementasi dari demokrasi perwakilan tercermin pada salah satu kegiatan pemilu, yang merupakan bentuk perwujudan kekuasaan rakyat dalam negara Indonesia. Pemilu merupakan sarana demokrasi yang dapat menentukan siapa yang berhak menduduki kursi di lembaga politik negara baik legislatif maupun eksekutif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: Bagaimanakah sistem dan mekanisme pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2014 ? Metode pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach), dengan spesifikasi penelitian adalah deskriptif analitis. Sumber bahan hukum adalah bahan hukum primer dan bahan hukum sekunder. Bahan hukum yang telah ada dianalisis dengan metode normatif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, disimpulkan bahwa sistem pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2014 dilaksanakan dengan sistem proporsional terbuka, sedangkan mekanisme pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2014 dalam pelaksanaannya terdiri atas serangkaian kegiatan yang terdiri dari: pendaftaran pemilih, pencalonan anggota legislatif, penetapan daerah pemilihan, kampanye, pemungutan suara, penghitungan suara, penetapan hasil pemilu, penetapan calon terpilih, dan pelantikan calon terpilih. Inggris) | ABSTRACT JURIDICAL REVIEW OF THE LEGISLATIVE GENERAL ELECTION 2014 by : WINDA RISMAYANTI EIA007400 The implementation of a representative democracy reflected in a general election event, which represents a form of embodiment of a society power in the State of Indonesia. general election represents a democracy medium for which through general election, it may determine whomever deserve to place the seat in the state political institution, either legislative or executive. through the aforementioned matters, the formulation of the problems in this research formulated as: How was the system and mechanism of legislative general election in the year 2014? the approach method for this research was a statute approach, with the research specification was analytical descriptive. the legal sources were the primary and secondary legal sources. the available legal sources would be analyzed through normative qualitative method. based on the research result and the discussion, it was concluded that the system of the legislative general election in the year 2014 conducted by an opened proportional system, while the mechanism of the legislative general election in the year 2014 during its implementation, consisted on the series of activities that were consisted on: registration of voters, campaign, voting, counting, determination of election results, determination of selected candidates, and inauguration of the elected candidates. key word: system and mechanism, general election, legislative |
