| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pekerjaan merupakan bagian yang memegang peranan penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Pada 2012, di Jakarta Selatan jumlah penderita stres yang terjaring mencapai 89 orang. Beban kerja merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab stres dalam pekerjaan. PT. Sutanto Arifchandra Elektronic merupakan salah satu perusahaan industri yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi kabel audio video yang bertempat di Kecamatan Sokaraja Kabupaten Banyumas. Kondisi lingkungan di PT. SAE dapat memengaruhi terjadinya beban kerja yang merupakan salah satu faktor instrinsik dari stres kerja. Metode yang digunakann dalam penelitian ini adalah obsevasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 58 responden yang diperoleh dengan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubuungan beban kerja dengan stres kerja pada pekerja. Nilai uji (P) = 0,001 < nilai alpa 0,05. The workload is one of the causes of stress at work. PT. Sutanto Arifchandra Elektronic (PT. SAE). is one of the industrial company engaged in the production of audio-video cables are located in the district of Sokaraja Banyumas. Environmental conditions in the PT. SAE can affect the workload is one of the intrinsic factors of work stress. Method in this study is observational analytic cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 58 respondents were obtained by simple random sampling technique. Analysis of the data used is the Chi-square test. The results showed relationship workload with work stress on workers. Test value = ,001 < alpha value = 0,05.
