| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Krisan (Chrysanthemum morifolium (L) Ramat) merupakan tanaman hias yang memiliki keindahan dalam bentuk, ukuran, dan warna bunganya. Produksi bunga krisan di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan, namun masih rendah dalam hal kualitas bunganya. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas bunga krisan dengan menjadikan krisan sebagai bunga pot. Aplikasi paklobutrazol pada tanaman krisan pot perlu dilakukan sehingga tanaman kompak, daun berwarna hijau tua, dan warna bunga mencolok. Paklobutrazol memiliki kemampuan menghambat biosintesis giberelin dan mempercepat fase vegetatif menuju generatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara konsentrasi paklobutrazol dan varietas krisan sebagai krisan pot, (2) Menentukan kombinasi konsentrasi terbaik untuk paklobutrazol dan varietas yang cocok sebagai krisan pot. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial. Faktor pertama berupa konsentrasi paklobutrazol 0; 50; 100; 150 ppm. Faktor kedua berupa varietas krisan, Yellow Fiji, dan Super Red. Aplikasi paklobutrazol konsentrasi 50 ppm menunjukkan penampilan tanaman yang kompak pada tanaman perlakuan dibandingkan tanaman kontrol. Varietas Super Red yang digunakan dapat mempengaruhi luas daun, ukuran daun lebih kecil, dan posisi duduk daun tumpang tindih. Sementara itu, varietas Yellow Fiji yang digunakan dapat meningkatkan jumlah kuntum bunga. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium (L) Ramat) is an ornamental plant which have beauty of shape, measurement, and colour of flower. Indonesian production of chrysanthemum has increased, but it’s still low from the quality side, one of the methods to increase quality of Chrysanthemum flower as potted flower. Paclobutrazol can be used to change a chrysanthemum into a potted flower. It has the ability to delay biosynthesis of gibberelin and quickly changed from vegetatif phase to generatif phase. The aim of this research is to learn: (1) the effect of interaction between paclobutrazol concentration and variety of Chrysanthemum as potted chrysanthemum, (2) the best combination between paclobutrazol concentration and variety of chrysanthemum. Method used in this research is experimental and the design of the research is a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with factorial pattern. Factor 1 is a paclobutrazol concentration, it’s consisted of four levels, namely: 0; 50; 100; 150 ppm. Factor 2 is a variety of chrysanthemum, it’s consisted of two type: Yellow Fiji, and Super Red. Concentration 50 ppm of paclobutrazol treatment show more compact in treatment plant than control. Super Red showed influence in leaf area, reduced leaf size, and overlapping of leaf positioning. Whereas, Yellow Fiji increased total number of floret. |
