| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Dewasa ini, teknologi berkembang sangat pesat dan mempengaruhi kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam dunia hukum. Salah satu bentuk kecanggihan teknologi dalam bidang hukum adalah dalam proses pemeriksaan saksi yang menggunakan sarana video conference. Contoh kasus yang menggunakan video conference dalam pemeriksaan saksinya yaitu kasus penembakan yang terjadi di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Cebongan, Yogyakarta. Sebenarnya masih terjadi perdebatan penggunaan video conference dalam pemeriksaan saksi pada kasus tersebut. Oleh karena itu penggunaan video conference sebagai sarana pemeriksaan saksi perlu dikaji di dalam hukum positif Indonesia. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | These days, technology develops rapidly and iffluences human beings, including in the world of law. One of some modern tecnologies in the world of law is the process of witnesses investigation which uses video conference as the medium. The case example of using video conference in the medium. The case example of using video conference in the witnesses investigation is the case of shooting which happens in Cebongan Jail, Yogyakarta. Actually, there is still a debate about the use of video conference in investigating the witnesses in that case. Therefore, the use of video conference as a witnesses investigation medium needs to be reviewed in the Indonesian Positive Law. |
