Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)Hubungan vegetasi mangrove dengan Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon di sungai Donan Cilacap, Jawa Tengah telah di lakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar TPH (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon), kerapatan vegetasi mangrove, dampak TPH terhadap vegetasi mangrove di daerah perairan muara Sungai Donan Cilacap. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2013. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified sampling berdasarkan wilayah yang dekat dan terpapar TPH pada 6 stasiun dengan masing-masing 3 ulangan pada setiap stasiun. Variable penelitian adalah kemampuan adaptasi mangrove terhadap TPH dengan melihat nilai kerapatan serta kondisi mangrove pada wilayah yang terkena paparan TPH. TPH terdapat di setiap stasiun pengamatan dengan kadar terbesar di air 1498,83 ppm dan di sedimen 29266.97 ppm, sedangkan kadar terkecil di air 74,64 ppm dan di sedimen 637,88 ppm. Pola adaptasi dapat dilihat dari kerapatan mangrove. Kerapatan tertinggi yaitu 1900 ind/ha dan kerapatan terendah sebesar 667 ind/ha. Model hubungan antara kadar TPH di air dan sedimen terhadap kerapatan mangrove menggunakan regresi dengan software Data Fit. Berdasarkan model regresi menunjukkan hubungan antara kerapatan dengan TPH di air dan sedimen memiliki nilai eksponensial negatif, semakin tinggi kadar TPH maka kerapatan mangrove akan semakin rendah.
Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris)Relationship of mangrove vegetation total petroleum hydrocarbon in the Donan river Cilacap, Central Java, was studied. This study was aimed to determine the levels of TPH (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon), density of mangrove vegetation and, TPH impact on mangrove vegetation in the Donan estuary waters Cilacap. This research was conducted in October 2013 using a stratified sampling technique based on area which were close and exposed to TPH 6 at stations with 3 replicates at each station. Variable measured in this study was the mangrove adaptation capability against TPH by observing density value and mangrove condition at the area which contamined by TPH. TPH was found in each observation stations with the largest concentration in the water was 1498.83 ppm and in the sediment 29266.97 ppm, while the smallest in the water content was 74.64 ppm and 637.88 ppm in sediment. Adaptation patterns can be seen from the mangrove density. The highest density was 1900 ind/ ha and the lowest density was 667 ind/ ha. Model of the relationship between the levels of TPH in water and sediment of the mangrove density was analysed using regression with Data Fit software. Based on the regression model showeds the relationship between the density of TPH in water and sediments have a negative exponential value, the higher density of mangrove resulted lower TPH levels.
