| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Lapangan “Akbar” dimiliki oleh PT.Pertamina EP yang terletak di provinsi Kalimantan Utara, 80 km ke arah barat laut dari Pulau Tarakan, menempati area seluas kurang lebih 23,37 km2. Pemodelan fasies pengendapan dalam eksplorasi minyak dan gas bumi menjadi salah satu dasar dalam penentuan titik pemboran pada tahap eksplorasi selanjutnya. Zona “AKB” merupakan zona Highstand System Tract (HST). Zona ini dipilih karena tubuh batupasir yang terbentuk tebal dan menerus. Pemodelan fasies HST ini menjadi dasar pemikiran dalam menganalisis kualitas reservoir pada tahap selanjutnya. Secara geologi, Lapangan “Akbar” terletak di Sub Cekungan Tidung, dibatasi oleh Tinggian Semporna di sebelah utara. Formasi Tabul di Lapangan “Akbar” didominasi oleh batupasir berselingan dengan batulanau dan serpih. Struktur geologi yang berkembang di daerah penelitian berupa antiklin dengan sumbu berarah barat laut-tenggara dan sesar naik dengan pola positive flower structure berarah barat laut-tenggara. Struktur ini merupakan produk dari fase tektonik terakhir Plio-Pleistosen pada Cekungan Tarakan. Berdasarkan data log sumur dari 68 sumur, batuan inti 1 sumur dan serbuk bor 17 sumur, Formasi Tabul di daerah penelitian diendapkan di lingkungan delta. Formasi Tabul terdiri dari fasies batupasir distributary channel dan mouth bar, dimana fasies mouth bar penyebarannya lebih luas. Berdasarkan model fasies yang telah dibuat, geometri dan distribusi fasies distributary channel dan mouth bar menunjukkan semakin maju ke arah timur. Paleogeografi daerah penelitian dari barat ke timur yaitu delta plain, delta front dan prodelta. Suplai sedimen berasal dari arah barat yang diendapkan ke arah timur. Letak deposenter diinterpretasikan terletak di sebelah timur karena terjadi penebalan sedimen. |

Inggris) | “Akbar” Field is owned by PT.Pertamina EP which is located in the province of North Kalimantan, about 80 kilometres northwestern of the Tarakan Island, occupies an area of approximately 23.37 km2. Depositional facies modeling in oil and gas exploration becomes one of the basis for determining the point of drilling in the next exploration phase.”AKB” zone is Highstand System Tract (HST) zone. This zone had been chosen which tends to form thick sandstone bodies and being connected to each other. Facies modeling in HST can be the basis of thought in analyzing the quality of the reservoir at a later stage. Geologically, “Akbar” field is located in the Tidung Sub Basin, bounded by Semporna High in the north. Tabul Formation in the “Akbar” field is dominated by sandstone interbedded with siltstone and shale. Geological structures that developed in areas of study such as the northwest-southeast trending anticline and thrust fault with a pattern of positive flower structure. These structures are the product of the last tectonic phase Plio-Pleistocene in the Tarakan Basin. Based on data from 68 wells wireline logs, 1 well conventional core and 17 wells cutting, Tabul Formation in the study area was deposited in the delta environment. Tabul Formation consisting of distributary channel and mouth bar sandstone facies, where mouth bar facies spread wider. Based on facies models that had been created, geometry and facies distribution of distributary channel and mouth bar indicated prograde to the east. Paleogeography of the west towards the east are delta plain, delta front and prodelta. Sediment supply comes from the west were deposited eastward. Interpreted depocenter located in the east due to the thickening of the sediments. |
