| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul Kualitas Eksternal Telur Ayam Niaga Petelur Strain Isa Brown dan Lohmann Brown pada Tiga Periode Umur Bertelur Di Peternakan HJR Farm. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kualitas eksternal telur berdasarkan strain ayam, mengetahui kulitas ekstarnal telur berdasarkan periode umur bertelur (periode awal, periode puncak, periode akhir). Materi penelitian menggunakan ayam niaga petelur strain Isa Brown dan Lohmann Brown,jumlah ayam yang digunakan yaitu 60 ekor untuk masing-masing strain, keseluruhan jumlah telur yang digunakan yaitu 120 butir. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola tersarang, sebagai grup strain ayam niaga petelur (Isa Brown dan Lohmann Brown), sebagai sub grup awal produksi, puncak produksi, dan akhir produksi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strain berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kualitas eksternal telur dan periode umur bertelur berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kualitas eksternal telur. Rataan bobot telur terkecil hingga terbesar 57,45 + 3,30 g dan 67,60 + 6,59 g. Rataan indeks telur terkecil hingga terbesar 74,35 + 0,84% dan 79,10 + 1,15%. Rataan volume telur terkecil hingga terbesar 55,69 + 1,32 ml3 dan 67,10 + 3,64 ml3. Rataan warna kerabang terkecil hingga terbesar 1,55 + 0,27 dan 2,60 + 0,37. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas eksternal telur ayam niaga petelur dari strain Isa Brown dan Lohmann Brown relatif sama karena berasal dari galur murni yang sama. Periode peneluran menghasilkan kualitas eksternal telur yang berbeda. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This research entitled External Quality of Strain Isa Brown and Lohmann Brown Commercial Laying Chicken on Three Periods of Laying Age in HRJ Farm. The aim of this research was to determine the external quality chicken egg based on strains and to know the external quality of laying eggs by age period(the beginning period, the peak period, the end period). The material which of the research were commercial laying chicken strains Isa Brown and Lohmann Brown, it was divided into three periods. The number of chickens that used were 60 birds for each strain and the overall number of eggs that used were 120. The method of the research was experimental method with used completely randomized design (CRD) nested pattern, as a group were of commercial strains of layer chickens (Isa Brown and Lohmann Brown), as a sub-group were early production, peak production, and the end of production. Data was analyzed using analysis of variance followed by honestly significant difference test (HSD). The results showed that the period of egg-laying age significantly affected egg-laying age period (P<0.05). The average weight from the smallest to the largest were 57.45 + 3,30 g and 67.60 + 6,59 g. The average index from the smallest to the largest were 74.35 + 0,84 % and 79.10 + 1.15%. The average volume from the smallest to the largest were of 52.75 + 3 ml3 and 67.10 + 3,64ml3. The average egg shell from the smallest to the largest were 1.55 + 0.27 and 2.60 + 0.37. The results of this study concluded that the external quality of commercial laying chicken of strain Isa Brown and Lohmann Brown was relatively same because it came from the same pure lines. Laying period produces different external quality eggs. |
