| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Konsentrasi ekstrak daun tembakau apkir yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan jamur Colletotrichum capsici secara in vitro, 2) Efektivitas ekstrak daun tembakau apkir untuk mengendalikan penyakit antraknosa pada tanaman cabai besar, dan 3) Pengaruh ekstrak daun tembakau apkir dalam menekan kehilangan hasil cabai besar yang disebabkan oleh penyakit antraknosa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Januari sampai April 2014 di Laboratorium dan screen house Pengamatan Hama Penyakit Tanaman Karesidenan Kedu. Penelitian dilakukan melalui dua tahap yaitu secara in vitro dan in planta. Pengujian in vitro menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari Kontrol ( tanpa aplikasi fungisida), applikasi ekstrak daun tembakau apkir konsentrasi 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, serta Fungisida Mankozeb konsentrasi 0,2%. Pengujian in planta menggunakan rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas Kontrol ( tanpa aplikasi fungisida), Aplikasi ekstrak daun tembakau apkir konsentrasi 25%, 30%, dan fungisida Mankozeb konsentrasi 0,2%. Variabel yang diamati meliputi: diameter koloni C. capsici, kepadatan konidium, masa inkubasi, kejadian penyakit, intensitas penyakit, keefektifan ekstrak daun tembakau apkir, dan bobot buah tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Ekstrak daun tembakau apkir konsentrasi 20%, 25%, dan 30% mampu menghambat pertumbuhan jamur C. capsici dalam kondisi in vitro. Konsentrasi 30% merupakan konsentrasi terbaik dengan penekanan pertumbuhan diameter koloni sebesar 40,61%, 2) Ekstrak daun tembakau apkir yang paling efektif untuk mengendalikan penyakit antraknosa adalah konsentrasi 30% dengan nilai keefektifan sebesar 41%, dan 3) Aplikasi ekstrak daun tembakau apkir belum mampu menekan kehilangan hasil tanaman cabai besar yang disebabkan oleh penyakit antraknosa. |

Inggris) | This research aimed at knowing: 1) the concentration of rejected tobacco leave extract that can inhibit the Colletotrichum capsici fungus growth in vitro, 2 the effectiveness of rejected tobacco leave extract to control the anthracnose disease on red chili pepper, 3 the influence of rejected tobacco leave extract to suppress the red chilli pepper yield losses due to anthracnose disease. This research was carried out from January up to April 2014 at the laboratory and screen huose of Plant Pests and Diseases Observation, Kedu residency. The research was conducted by two stage, in vitro and in planta test. The experimental design used in vitro test was Randomized Complete Design (RCD), The treatments tested include: control (without spraying fugicide), spraying rejected tobacco leave extract concentration 10%, 15%,20%, 25%, 30% and Fugicide Mancozeb concentration 0,2 %. In planta test used Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), the treatments tested include: control (without spraying fugicide), spraying rejected tobacco leave extract concentration 25%, 30% and Fugicide Mancozeb concentration 0,2 %. The variables observed consist of: diameter of colony C. capsici, density of conidium, incubation periode, the incidence of disease, the intensity of desease, the effectiveness of rejected tobacco leave extract , and the weight of fruit plants. The results showed: 1) The rejected tobacco leave extract of 20%, 25%, and 30% concentration ben able to inhibit the growth of C. capsici fungus in vitro. The 30% concentration was the best with emphasis diameter of colony 40,61%, 2) The rejected tobacco leave extract most effective to control the anthracnose disease was 30% concentration with effectiveness value 41%, 3) the aplication of rejected tobacco leave extract not been able yet to suppress the red chilli pepper yield losses due to anthracnose disease. |
