| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Hotel Santika Purwokerto merupakan salah satu hotel berbintang tiga dengan sistem manajemen grup yang berdiri di Purwokerto. Ketika penelitian ini dilakukan, masa operasi hotel tersebut baru satu tahun. Kondisi demikian menimbulkan pertanyaan lebih lanjut tentang bagaimana kegiatan employee relations di sana berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan komunikasi karyawannya yang relatif baru. Untuk itulah penelitian ini dilakukan dengan maksud mengetahui ada-tidaknya hubungan antara kegiatan employee relations dengan kepuasan komunikasi karyawan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan teknik pemilihan informan stratified random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi Pearson’s Product Moment untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kegiatan employee relations dengan kepuasan komunikasi karyawan di Hotel Santika Purwokerto. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, diperolah koefisien korelasi (rhitung) sebesar 0,739 pada taraf signifikansi 5% (alpha = 0,05 ) dan tingkat kepercayaan 95% dengan jumlah responden 44. Koefisien korelasi yang ditemukan sebesar 0,739 tersebut dimaknai bahwa variabel kegiatan employee relations dengan kepuasan komunikasi karyawan di Hotel Santika Purwokerto memiliki hubungan yang kuat, positif dan signifikan. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah, kegiatan employee relations memiliki hubungan berbanding lurus baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dengan kepuasan komunikasi karyawan Hotel Santika Purwokerto. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Hotel Santika Purwokerto is three star rated hotel with group management system which stood in Purwokerto. When this research was conducted, the operation of these new hotel is just reach a year. These conditions led to more questions about how the activities of the employee relations there affect the satisfaction of a relatively new employee communications. Therefore this research was conducted with the intention of knowing is there any relationships between the activities of the employee relations with employees communications satistication. The method used in this research is a survey method and the sampling technique is stratified random sampling. This research use Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation due to know the relationship between the activities of the employee relations with communication satisfaction on employees at the Hotel Santika Purwokerto. Based on the calculation, the correlation coefficients (counted r) obtained by the statistics result at the number of 0,739 and with 5% significance level (alpha = 0.05%), and 95% of confidence level with 44 number of the respondents. The correlation coefficient was found for the variable at 0,739 which meant that the activities of the employee relations communication satisfaction with employees at the Hotel Santika Purwokerto have strong, positive and significant relationships. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that the activities of the employee relations has a proportional relationship either directly or indirectly with the satisfaction of employees communication at Hotel Santika Purwokerto. |
