| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan limbah ikan tongkol dihidrolisis enzim bromelin dan pollard fermentasi terhadap Haugh Unit dan viskositas telur puyuh. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 10 Maret sampai 12 Mei 2014 di Experimental Farm Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan adalah 100 ekor puyuh betina umur empat minggu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental in vivo dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan, setiap perlakuan diulang 5 kali serta setiap ulangan terdiri atas 5 ekor puyuh. Perlakuan yang diujicobakan terdiri atas R0 (limbah ikan tongkol hidrolisis dan pollard fermentasi 0%), R1 (limbah ikan tongkol hidrolisis dan pollard fermentasi 10%), R2 (limbah ikan tongkol hidrolisis dan pollard fermentasi 20%), dan R3 (limbah ikan tongkol hidrolisis dan pollard fermentasi 30%). Data dianalisis dengan analisis variansi. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0.05) terhadap Haugh Unit dan viskositas telur puyuh. Rataan Haugh Unit dan viskositas telur puyuh adalah 90,53±1,02 dan 0,029±0,001 dm3/s. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan limbah ikan tongkol dihidrolisis enzim bromelin dan pollard fermentasi sampai level 30% dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti konsentrat pabrik dengan menghasilkan Haugh Unit dan viskositas telur puyuh yang relatif sama. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The aim of this research was to know the effect of tuna waste hydrolyzed by bromelain enzyme and fermented pollard on Haugh Unit and viscosity of quail egg. The research was conducted from March 10th to May 12th 2014 at The Experimental Farm and Animal Feeding and Nutrition Laboratory Faculty of Animal Science Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. Material used were 100 female quails of four weeks old. This research was conducted by in vivo experimental method and used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments, each treatment was repeated 5 times, each replication consisted of 3 quails. Treatments used were R0 (tuna waste hydrolyzed by bromelain enzyme and fermented pollard 0%), R1 (tuna waste hydrolyzed by bromelain enzyme and fermented pollard 10%), R2 (tuna waste hydrolyzed by bromelain enzyme and fermented pollard 20%), and R3 (tuna waste hydrolizyd by bromelain enzyme and fermented pollard 30%). Data were analyzed by analysis of variance. The analysis of variance showed that there was non significant effect (P>0,05) of the treatments to Haugh Unit and viscosity of quail egg. The average result of Haugh Unit and viscosity of quail egg were 90,53±1,02 and 0,0294±0,0010 dm3/s. These result indicates that utilization of tuna waste hydrolyzed by bromelain enzyme and fermented pollard until the level of 30% can replace factory concentrate produces the relatively similar of Haugh Unit and viscosity of quail egg. |
