| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | About 80-95% pregnant woman are having symptoms of nausea and vomiting along the day on the first trimester. Nausea vomiting on gestation needs the right treatment because it will put the mother and her baby into dangerous situation. Pharmacist involvement will optimize the medication and giving information about nausea and vomiting condition during the pregnancy. This research is attempted to find out pharmacist counseling skill to cure nausea and vomiting in pregnancy in Banyumas. This research is a descriptive research with cross sectional study. The method of this research is using patient simulation so that it will find out the pharmacist behavior during their practice in pharmacy. The sample of this research is using 20 pharmacists that have been given special pregnancy condition education. The data analysis in this research is using descriptive statistics. The data gained is a visual audio record that used in scoring form. The scoring of pharmacist counseling skill is by using two categories which are counseling process and communication skills. From the scoring of counseling analysis result it shows that the average percentage of respondents is 46,67% and the pharmacist communication skills shows average percentage 59,68% of maximum values, therefore both of them are in quite good category. The result of this research can be used for evaluation or to improve pharmacist skills in giving counseling to any patients having nausea and vomiting during the gestation. |
