| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Abstraksi Jumlah kendaraan bermotor yang semakin meningkat mengakibatkan banyaknya jumlah kecelakaan lalu lintas. Data dari Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia, Resor Banyumas Satuan Lalu Lintas menyatakan jumlah kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas di wilayah Kabupaten Banyumas tahun 2012 sebanyak 1451 kejadian, meninggal dunia 298 orang, luka berat 155 orang, luka ringan 2.106 orang, dan kerugian material 2.172.540.000 rupiah. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas di wilayah Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode penelitian menggunakan Analisis Data Sekunder, alat analisisnya menggunakan Distribusi Frekuensi. Hasil analisis faktor penyebab kecelakaan di wilayah Kabupaten Banyumas disebabkan oleh empat faktor yaitu faktor manusia, jalan, tekhnis dan cuaca. Faktor manusia 2.043 atau 89,persen, faktor jalan 145 atau 6,4 persen, faktor tekhnis 54 atau 2,4 persen dan faktor cuaca 19 atau 0,8 persen. Faktor manusia paling banyak terjadi yaitu tidak menjaga jarak dengan kendaraan yang ada di depan/samping, 630 atau 27,persen, faktor kedua tertinggi yaitu melaju kecepatan tinggi atau ngebut 448 atau 19,7 persen. Solusinya yaitu ubahlah maindset kita tentang mematuhi peraturan untuk keselamatan diri kita bukan keselamatan dari polisi, tanamkan etika berlalu lintas sejak dini, patuhi peraturan lalu lintas dimulai dari diri kita sendiri, dan pemerintah seharusnya lebih memperhatikan, menindaklanjuti kondisi jalan rusak. Data from the Indonesian National Police, the Traffic Unit Banyumas resort states that the number of traffic accidents in the area Banyumas in 2012 as many as 1451 incident, the dies as many as 298 people, as many as 155 people Trauma, Injury Light weight many as 2106 people, and material losses as much as 2.17254 billion dollars. The purpose of the study to analyze the factors causing traffic accidents in the district Banyumas. Metode research using secondary data analysis, analysis tool using Frequency Distribution. The results of the factor analysis of the causes of accidents in the area Banyumas is caused by four factors,that is human factors, roads, technical and weather. The human factor as much as 2043 or 89.9 %, road factor of 145 or 6.4 percent, technical factors as much as 54 or 2.4 percent, and weather factor as much as 19 or 0.8 percent. The human factor is the most common that do not keep a distance with the vehicle in front side or behind side 630 or 27.2 percent the second highest factor is drove at high speed or speeding 448 or 19,7 percent. The solution is changed our maindset about obeying the safety rules for ourselves not for the safety of the police. The ethics better instilled from an early age, obey traffic laws start from ourselves. The government should pay more attention, follow-up the bad condition road .
