| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Efisiensi Ekonomi Dan Tingkat Kesejahteraan Perajin Sabut Kelapa Desa Pucung Lor Kecamatan Kroya Kabupaten Cilacap”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat efisiensi ekonomi usaha perajin sabut kelapa serta mengukur tingkat kesejahteraan perajin sabut kelapa dari pendapatan bersih yang diterima oleh perajin. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis pendekatan rasio penerimaan dan biaya (R/C) untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi ekonomi, untuk mengetahui tingkat kesejahteraan dapat dengan membandingkan antara pendapatan peranggota keluarga dengan besarnya rata-rata KHL Kabupaten Cilacap tahun 2013 yaitu Rp1.066.954. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer, dari perhitungan dapat diketahui bahwa rata-rata tingkat efisiensi usaha perajin sabut kelapa sebesar 2,4 hal ini menunjukan bahwa usaha perajin sabut kelapa sudah efisien dan menguntungkan. Pendapatan perajin sabut kelapa rata-rata belum dapat memenuhi standar Kebutuhan Hidup Layak (KHL). Rasio antara pendapatan peranggota keluarga dan KHL menunjukan hasil 0,80. Agar kegiatan perajin semakin efisien maka perajin sabut kelapa sebaiknya mampu merespon tren pasar yang sedang berkembang. Oleh karena itu perajin dapat membuat produk yang nilai ekonomisnya lebih tinggi. Selain itu perajin dapat menggunakan alat yang lebih modern dalam proses produksi. Pendapatan perajin sabut kelapa harus lebih ditingkatkan agar dapat memenuhi standar Kebutuhan Hidup Layak. Pendekatan pendapatan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produk sabut kelapa. Memproduksi jenis produk yang lain seperti sabutret. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | This study entitled “Economic Efficiency and the Welfare Level of Coir Craftsmen in Pucung Lor Village, Sub-district of CilacapKroya“. This study aims to measure the level of economic efficiency of enterprises and coir craftsmen’s welfare by measuring the net income that they received. By using the method of analysis cost and revenue ratio (R / C) approach to determine the level of economic efficiency, to determine the level of welfare level can be compared between family member’s incomes with the average income of Cilacap KHL in 2013 that is Rp. 1,066,954. This study uses primary data; from the calculation can be seen that the average of the efficiency level of business coir craftsmen is 2.4, this shows that coir craftsmen effort has been efficient and profitable. Average revenue of crafters doesn’t meet the living needs standard (KHL). The result shows that the ratio between the family member’s incomes and the living needs standard is 0.80. In order to make the crafters more efficient they should be able to respond to emerging market trends. Therefore, crafters will be able to make the product with higher economic value. In addition, crafters also can use more modern tools in the production process. The revenue of coconut coir craftsmen must be improved in order to meet the standards of the Living Needs. That approach income can be done by improving the quality and quantity of coir products. Produce other types of products such as large rimbagan and sabutret.
