| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | ABSTRAKSI Teater merupakan sebuah wadah bagi manusia yang ingin mewacanakan segala macam peristiwa dengan tanpa melupakan unsur keindahan. Panggung teater dapat dikatakan sebagai sebuah laboratorium hidup yang memuat berbagai macam perasaan di dunia ini. Sebagai sebuah media, pelaku teater perlu untuk selalu bereksplorasi dalam menggunakan panggung agar pesan yang terkandung dapat dikomunikasikan secara efektif. Hal ini dilakukan secara kolektif oleh orang-orang yang ingin terlibat dalam sebuah pertunjukkan teater melalui peran-peran yang mereka pikul. Keselarasan sebuah pementasan tergantung dari bagaimana para penciptanya saling bersinergi selama proses. Naskah, aktor, sutradara dan asisten sutradara, serta tim artistik merupakan unsur-unsur yang saling memengaruhi keefektifan komunikasi sebuah pertunjukkan. Mereka saling memberi impuls dan menanggapinya melalui simbol-simbol yang ditafsirkan dari naskah. Hal ini pula yang ditangkap oleh aktor selaku pemain panggung depan dalam prosesnya menubuhkan tokoh. Penelitian ini akhirnya berfokus kepada bagaimana interaksi simbolik yang dilakukan seluruh elemen panggung dapat mendukung aktor untuk menemukan karakter tokoh. Penelitian studi kasus ini mengambil subjek tim panggung dalam pentas produksi Teater SiAnak FISIP UNSOED berjudul Tolomias?. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas dan intensitas interaksi dengan sutradara, asisten sutradara serta tim artistik dapat memengaruhi keaktoran. Pemahaman atas naskah serta makna simbol yang diciptakan oleh tim artistik dapat membantu aktor untuk bereksplorasi di atas panggung. Arahan yang intensif serta evaluasi dari sutradara dapat membantu aktor dalam melakukan perbaikan-perbaikan. Implikasi yang muncul dari penelitian ini adalah, para pegiat teater khususnya teater kampus harus melakukan pelatihan rutin di luar waktu perkuliahan untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam memahami panggung. Selain untuk kebutuhan teknis, latihan rutin juga dapat menimbulkan keintiman di antara para pegiat teater yang nantinya akan berdampak pada cara mereka bertukar pikiran selama proses produksi pementasan. | Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | ABSTRACT The theatre is a place for human beings who want to convey all sorts of events without forgetting the beauty of the item. The theatre’s stage can be described as a living laboratory that contains a range of feelings in this world. As a media theatre, actors need to always explore the use of the stage, so the message contained can be communicated effectively. This is done collectively by people who want to get involved in a theatrical performances through the roles of each. The alignment of a staging depends from how its creators synergized during the process. Script, actors, directors, and assistant director as well as the artistic team is an interdependent elements affecting the effectiveness of communication of a show. They give each other impulses and respond to it through symbols are interpreted from the script.It it also captured by the actor as the next stage in the process cast establihsed figures. This research ultimately focuses on how symbolic interaction is done all over the stage elements can support an actor to find the character figures. This case study takes the research subject team stage in stage SiAnak FISIP UNSOED theatre’s production titled Tolomias?. Data collection techniques used include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this research shows that the quality and intensity of interaction with directors, assitant directors, and artistic team can affect the actor. Understanding of the text and meaning of symbols created by the artistic team can help the actor to explore on the stage. Intensive referral as well as an evaluation of the director can help actor in doing repairs. The implication that arise from this research is theatre activists of campus theater in particular should do routine training outside time and associated cost to increase their ability to understand the stage. In addition to technical needs, exercise routine can also evoke the intimacy between the activists of the theatre that would later have an impact on the way exchange ideas during the production process of staging.
