| Judul Artikel | ANALYSIS ON THE EFFICIENCY OF THE USE OF PRODUCTION FACTOR IN MUSTARD (PETSAI) FARMING IN SERANG VILLAGE, KARANGREJA SUBDISTRICT, PURBALINGGA DISTRICT |
| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor-Faktor Produksi Pada Usahatani Sawi (Petsai) di Desa Serang, Kecamatan Karangreja, Kabupaten Purbalingga”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi teknis, efisiensi harga, efisiensi ekonomis dan pengaruh penggunaan faktor produksi yaitu luas lahan, benih, pupuk, pestisida, dan tenaga kerja terhapan jumlah produksi dalam usahatani sawi di Desa Serang, Kecamatan Karangreja, Kabupaten Purbalingga. Penelitian ini melalui pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melalukan interview atau wawancara menggunakkan kuesioner terhadap para petani sawi yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani Mbuka Raharja dan Berkah Makmur, dengan menggunakkan teknik purposive sampling diperoleh 50 petani sebagai responden atau sampel yang dapat memawakili jumlah populasi nya. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis regresi berganda dan analisis efisiensi yang dibantu juga dengan alat analisis software Banxia Frontier Alalyst 4. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat diperoleh: (1) faktor produksi yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan atau nyata terhadap produksi usahatani sawi adalah lahan, benih, dan pupuk. Pestisida juga berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan atau nyata, sedangkan tenaga kerja berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan atau nyata terhadap produksi usahatani sawi tersebut, (2) rata-rata efisiensi teknik usahatani sawi kurang dari 1 yang berarti produksi sawi pada daerah penelitian tidak efisien, (3) dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa NPMx/Px penggunaan faktor produksi lahan, benih, pupuk, pestisida, dan tenagakerja kurang dari 1 sehingga tidak efisien, (4) usahatani sawi belum mencapai efisiensi baik teknik maupun harga maka usahatani sawi belum mencapai tingkat efisiensi ekonomi. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian adalah : (1) sebaiknya para petani bekerjasama dengan kelompok tani dan petugas penyuluh lapangan untuk melakukan penelitian dan percobaan sederhana yang bersifat teknis kemudian dianalisis secara ekonomis dengan tujuan titik optimum, agar dapat mengetahui berapa tingkat penggunaan suatu faktor produksi optimal, (2) Petugas penyuluh pertanian sebaiknya turut serta membantu petani atau kelompok tani dalam melakukan penerapan kombinasi berbagai faktor produksi tersebut, (3) petani perlu memperhatikan penggunaan pupuk dan pestisida karena terdapat dosis per satuan luas, petugas penyuluh pertanian perlu memberikan rekomendasi pemberian pupuk dan pestisida terutama mengenai dosis, cara pemberian, saat pemberian dan frekuensi pemberian pupuk dan pestisida yang tepat, (4) sebagian besar petani menjual hasil produksinya pada saat panen raya sehingga harga rendah, sebaiknya hasil panen disimpan terlebih dahulu menunggu harga yang lebih menguntungkan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut sebaiknya para petani bekerjasama membentuk kelompok atau koperasi pertanian atau bekerjasama dengan lembaga lain. |

Inggris) | The aims of this research were to know the level of technical efficiency, price efficiency, economic efficiency and the effect of the use of production factors i.e. land, seed, fertilizer, pestiside, and labors on the number of production in mustard farming . This research used purposive sampling technique and there were 50 farmers as the respondents or the sample respresented the population. Analysis in this research used multiple regression analysis and the efficiency analysis was carried out with analysis software Banxia Frontier Analyst 4. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) production factors which had significant and positive effect on the mustard production were land, seeds and fertilizer. Pesticide had positive effect but not significant, on the mustard farming production, meanwhile laborhad negative effect but not significant, on the mustard farming production (2) the average technical efficiency of mustard farming was less than 1 which means that mustard production in the research area was not efficient, (3) from the analysis result, it was known that NPMx/Px of the use of production factors; land, seed, fertilizer, pesticide, and labors was less than 1 so that the use of those production factors was not efficient, (4) mustard farming has not been in good efficiency either technically or price, therefore mustard farming in Serang Village, Karangreja Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency has not reached level of economy efficiency. Implications of the research result were: (1) Farmers should work together with other farmers group and field extension officer to conduct research and technical simple treatment then analyze economically with optimum point as the purpose in order to know how good the production factors run, (2) Field extension officer should take part and help the farmers or farmers group in applying the combination of those production factors, (3) farmers should pay attention to using fertilizer and pesticide since there is dosage per land area, agricultural extension officer needs to give recommendation of giving fertilizer and pesticide especially about the dosage, the procedure, whilst giving fertilizier and the appropriate frequency of gicing fertilizer and pesticide, (4) most of them sold the productions when the harvest came so that the price would be low, should store their harvest and wait for beneficial for them. To solve the problem, the farmers should work together with agricultural group or cooperative or other institutions. |
