| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian berjudul “Hubungan antara Faktor Sosial Ekonomi dengan Adopsi Teknologi Pakan Ternak Kambing Peranakan Ettawa (Studi Kasus: Desa Sukaharja, Sariwangi, Tasikmalaya)”, dilaksanakan mulai dari tanggal 25 November 2013 sampai dengan tanggal 9 Desember 2013 di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kondisi faktor sosial ekonomi peternak kambing PE, (2) mengetahui tingkat adopsi teknologi pakan ternak kambing PE, (3) mengetahui hubungan antara faktor sosial ekonomi dengan adopsi teknologi pakan ternak kambing PE. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei. Teknik penetapan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling yaitu memilih wilayah di Kecamatan Sariwangi, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya yang memiliki populasi kambing PE terbanyak. Wilayah terpilih adalah Desa Sukaharja. Responden yang digunakan adalah peternak kambing PE sebanyak 40 peternak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur responden pada usia produktif antara 31-50 tahun, pendidikan responden yaitu SD, pengalaman beternak dengan lama 6-10 tahun dan jumlah kepemilikan ternak sebanyak 6-10 ekor. Tingkat adopsi teknologi pakan peternakan kambing PE tergolong sedang dengan persentase 95,00%. Uji kolerasi rs menunjukan bahwa tidak semua faktor sosial ekonomi peternak berhubungan dengan adopsi teknologi pakan, hanya pendidikan dan pengalaman beternak yang mempunyai kolerasi signifikan dengan adopsi teknologi pakan, sedangkan umur dan jumlah kepemilikan ternak tidak mempunyai hubungan kolerasi yang signifikan dengan adopsi teknologi pakan. |

Inggris) | The research, entitled “The Relationship Between Socio-Economic Factors With Goat Fodder Technology Adoption Peranakan Ettawa (Case Study: Sukaharja Village, Sariwangi, Tasikmalaya)”, held from November 25, 2013 to December 9, 2013 in Tasikmalaya Regency. This research aims to (1) (1) to know social economy factor condition of Ettawa crossbred goat ranch, (2) to know the feed technology adoption degree of the Ettawa crossbred goat livestock, (3) to know the relationship between economy social factors with the feed technology adoption of the Ettawa crossbred goat livestock. The research was done by survey method. Sample assembling technique used the purposive sampling method; it chose the region in the Sukaharja, Sariwangi, Tasikmalaya which had the greatest number of the Ettawa crossbred goat livestock population. The chosen region is Sukaharja. The used respondent was about 40 breeder of Ettawa crossbred goat husbandry.The selected area is the village of Sukaharja. Respondents used is the breeder goat breeders as much as 40 PE. The results showed that the age of the respondents aged between 31-50 productive years, Education respondents i.e. ranching experiences with SD, 6-10 years old and the number of livestock ownership by as much as 6-10 tail. The adoption rate of the technology of goat husbandry feed PE belongs with percentage was 95.00%. Correlation test rs showed that not all the economy social factors of the breeder had the relationship with feed technology adoption, only education and continent experience which has significant correlation with feed technology adoption, whereas the age and number of livestock ownership didn’t have the significant correlation relationship with feed technology adoption. |
