| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian berjudul Suplementasi Ekstrak Kulit Bawang Putih (Allium sativum) dalam Pakan Sapi Potong Pengaruhnya Terhadap Total Bakteri dan Amonia Secara In Vitro yang dilaksanakan pada Desember 2013 sampai Januari 2014. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cairan rumen sapi potong dan pakan kontrol (jerami padi amoniasi : konsentrat : 40% : 60%). Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yaitu R0 : Pakan kontrol, R1 : R0 + mineral organik (1.5 ppm Chromium + 40 ppm Zink-lysinat) + 0 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih, R2 : R0 + mineral organik + 15 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih, R3 : R0 + mineral organik + 30 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih, R4 : R0 + mineral organik + 45 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih, R5 : R¬0 + mineral organik + 60 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih. Peubah yang diamati adalah total bakteri dan amonia serta data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan uji Orthogonal Polynomial dan Beda Nyata Jujur. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | A research entitled “Supplementation Effect of Extract Garlic Husk (Allium sativum) in Diet of Beef Catlle and its Effect on Total Bacteri and Ammonia Concentration by In Vitro”. Conducted from 2nd of December 2013 to 16th of January 2014. The materials of the research were rumen fluid of beef cattle obtained from Mersi Slaughterhouse, Purwokerto. The beef cattle ration composed of 40% amoniated rice straw, 60% concentrate (PK: 13,41%, SK: 23,82%, TDN: 65.32%). The research method was experimental by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were R0: Control feed, R1: R0 + 1.5 ppm Chromium + 40 Zn lysinat, R2: R0 + 1.5 ppm Chromium + 40 + Zn lysinat + Husk (of Allium sativum) extract 15 ppm, R3: R0 + 1.5 ppm Chromium + 40 + Zn lysinat + Husk (of Allium sativum) extract 30 ppm, R5: R0 + 1.5 ppm Chromium + 40 + Zn lysinat + Husk (of Allium sativum) extract 45 ppm, R6: R0 + 1.5 ppm Chromium + 40 Zn lysinat + Husk (of Allium sativum) extract 60 ppm. The variable observed is total bacteri and ammonia and data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by Orthogonal Polinomyal Test and Honestly Significant Difference Test. |
