| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh dan taraf terbaik penambahan ekstrak kulit bawang putih dalam substrat yang tercukupi mineral terhadap kecernaan bahan kering (KBK), kecernaan bahan organik (KBO) dan total VFA (Volatile Fatty Acid) rumen sapi perah secara in vitro. Materi penelitian menggunakan cairan rumen sapi perah yang diperoleh dari RPH Mersi Purwokerto. Substrat dasar pakan sapi perah tersusun atas 55% rumput gajah, 5% daun gamal dan 40% konsentrat (PK 15.75%; SK 21%; TDN 63.92%). Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diujicobakan yaitu R0 : Substrat dasar pakan sapi perah ; R1 : Substrat dasar + mineral organik (0.3 ppm Selenium + 1.5 ppm Chromium + 40 ppm Zink-lysinat) + 0 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih; R2 : R0 + mineral organik + 15 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih; R3 : R0 + mineral organik + 30 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih; R4 : R0 + mineral organik + 45 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih; R5 : R¬0 + mineral organik + 60 ppm ekstrak kulit bawang putih. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi dan dilanjutkan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) dan orthogonal polynomial. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The purpose of this study were to know the effect of supplementation of garlic husk extract in the substrate of feed adequated in mineral concentration on dry matter digestibility (DMD) and organic matter digestibility (OMD) and total VFA in the rumen of dairy cattle by in vitro. The materials of the research was rumen fluid of dairy cattle obtained from Mersi Slaughterhouse at Purwokerto. The basic substrate of feed of dairy cattle composed of 55% napier grass, 5% Gliricidae maculata and 40% concentrate (CP 15.75%; CF 21%; TDN 63.92%). The research method was experimental using Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments were R0 = basic substrat; R1 = R0 + organic minerals (0.3 ppm Selenium + Chromium + 1.5 ppm 40 ppm Zinc-lysinat) + 0 ppm of garlic husk extract, R2 = R0 + organic minerals + 15 ppm of garlic husk extract; R3 =R0 + organic + 30 ppm of garlic husk extract; R4 = R0 + organic minerals + 45 ppm of garlic husk extract; R5 = R0 + organic minerals + 60 ppm of garlic husk extract. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance and followed by Honestly Significant Different Test and Orthogonal Polynomial. |
