| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan jenis tanah inceptisol dan ultisol terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil dari sepuluh varietas padi sawah berdaya hasil tinggi, (2) mengetahui dosis pupuk N optimal varietas padi sawah yang efisien N pada inceptisol dan ultisol, (3) mendapatkan kultivar varietas padi sawah pada inceptisol dan ultisol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Screen house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto. Mulai Maret sampai dengan Agustus 2013. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL). Faktor yang diteliti terdiri atas varietas, dosis pemupukan dan jenis tanah. Variabel yang diamati meliputi beberapa variabel pertumbuhan vegetatif, komponen hasil tanaman, dan keefisienan pemanfaatan N. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tanah inceptisol memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil sepuluh varietas padi sawah dengan rerata 13,5 ton/ha yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan tanah ultisol 9,7 ton/ha. Dosis pemupukan N optimum pada tanah inceptisol adalah 113 kg N/ha setara dengan 245 kg Urea/ha, dan pada tanah ultisol 126 kg N/ha setara dengan 273 kg Urea/ha.Varietas padi sawah yang bisa dipilih menjadi kultivar berdaya hasil tinggi, berefisien tanggap pemupukan N pada inceptisol dan ultisol adalah varietas Ciherang dan Bondojudo. |

Inggris) | This study aims to : (1) determine the effect of different soil types and inceptisol ultisol on growth and yield of ten varieties of rice paddy fields, (2) determine the optimal level of fertilizer N efficient varieties of rice paddy N inceptisol and ultisol soil, (3) get cultivar of paddy rice in the inceptisol and ultisol soil. This research has been carried out in the Screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University This study was from March to August 2013. The experimental design used in this study was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The Factors of study consisted of varieties, fertilizer dosage and type of soil. Variables are included of some variables observed vegetative growth and crop yield components and efisien of N. The results showed that soil inceptisol provides growth and yield of ten varieties of paddy rice (13,5 tons/ha) compared with the ultisol (9,7 tons/ha). Optimal level of N fertilization on soil inceptisol is 113 kg N / ha equivalent to 245 kg Urea / ha, and the ultisol 126 kg N / ha equivalent to 273 kg Urea / ha. Paddy rice varieties that can be chosen to be high yielding cultivars, responsive-efficiency N fertilization on inceptisol and ultisol are Ciherang and Bondojudo.
