| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (PKS) PT. Swadaya Sapta Putra merupakan salah satu pabrik pengolahan kelapa sawit yang ada di Kecamatan Parenggean. Lebih tepatnya di Desa Bajarau Kecamatan Parenggean Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur Propinsi kalimantan Tengah. Pabrik tersebut mengolah tandan buah segar (TBS) kelapa sawit menjadi Crude Palm Oil (CPO) dan inti kelapa sawit (kernel) dengan kapasitas pengolahan ± 40-50 ton/jam. Salah satu tahapan pengolahan tersebut adalah proses perebusan (sterillisasi). untuk memperoleh rendemen minyak yang maksimal perlu dilakukan proses perebusan yang tepat sesuai dengan fraksi kematangan buahnya. Lama perebusan juga akan mempengaruhi kadar kehilangan minyak selama proses perebusan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh fraksi kematangan buah kelapa sawit terhadap lama perebusan (sterillisasi), pengaruh lama perebusan terhadap rendemen minyak yang diperoleh dari setiap fraksi kematangan buah, dan kadar kehilangan minyak yang ikut dengan janjang kosong dan cangkang saat perebusan. Faktor perlakuan yang digunakan adalah lama perebusan. Variabel yang diamati yaitu kadar air tandan buah rebus (TBR), kadar air sampel, rendemen minyak dari tiap-tiap fraksi kematangan buah, kadar kehilangan minyak dalam janjang kosong dan kadar kehilangan minyak dalan cangkang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kadar air tandan buah rebus berkisar antara 0,1150 (11,5%) – 0,1790 (17,9%), kadar air sampel antara 0,2430 (24,30%) – 0,4820 (48,20%), rendemen minyak antara 0,3310 (33,10%) – 0,5410 (54,10%), kehilangan minyak pada janjang kosong antara 0,0080 (0,8%) – 0,0910 (9,10%) dan kehilangan minyak pada cangkang antara 0,0140 (1,40%) – 0,0710 (7,10%). |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Palm Oil Mill (POM) PT. Swadaya Sapta Putra is one of the palm oil mills in the District Parenggean. More precisely in the village of Parenggean District Bajarau Kotawaringin Middle East of Kalimantan. The Palm Oil Mill processes Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) of oil palm into Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and palm kernel (kernel) with a processing capacity of ± 40-50 tons/hour. One of these processing stages is boiling process (sterilization). To obtain the maximum yield of oil boiling process needs to be carried out in accordance with the appropriate fraction of his maturity. Long boiling time will also affect the levels of oil lost during the boiling process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of oil palm fruit ripeness fraction of the long boiling (sterilization), the effect of long boiling the oil yield obtained from each fraction of the fruit ripeness, and the levels of oil loss that come with long and slender and the empty shell when boiling process. Treatment factor used is the time of boiling process. Variables observed that the water content of boiled fruit bunches, the water content from the sample, the yield of oil from each fraction of the fruit ripeness, the levels of oil lost in the empty slender and levels of oil loses role in the shell. The results showed bunches of boiled water content ranged between 0.1150 (11.5 %) - 0.1790 (17.9 %), the water content of the sample between 0.2430 (24.30 %) - 0.4820 (48 , 20 %), oil yield between 0.3310 (33.10 %) - 0.5410 (54.10 %), loss of oil on an empty slender between 0.0080 (0.8 %) - 0.0910 (9.10 %) and loss of oil in the shell between 0.0140 (1.40 %) - 0.0710 (7.10 %). |
