Indonesia) | Dengan adanya kemajuan dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan terutama dalam bidang jaringan komputer, jaringan komputer sangat berperan penting dalam berkomunikasi maupun bertukar informasi. Dengan jaringan komputer, pertukaran data dan informasi akan lebih mudah, cepat, tepat dan akurat. Namun jaringan komputer memiliki beberapa kelemahan, terutama dari segi keamanannya. Jaringan komputer tidak memiliki pertahanan yang jelas, sehingga setiap pengguna jaringan harus siap terhadap serangan-serangan yang akan terjadi pada komputer mereka. Host-Based Intrusion Detection System (HIDS) merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mendeteksi secara cepat datangnya serangan atau gangguan yang masuk kedalam sistem jaringan komputer. HIDS dapat menganalisa paket-paket berbahaya yang masuk kedalam jaringan komputer dan langsung memberikan peringatan dini kepada pengguna komputer. HIDS bekerja menggunakan software Snort untuk menganalisa paket-paket berbahaya yang masuk ke jaringan komputer berdasarkan rules atau signature yang telah dibuat, kemudian Snort membuat event unik dari serangan tersebut. Barnyard2 akan menterjemahkan event unik dari Snort dan menyimpannya ke database MySQL. Event unik tersebut akan dimunculkan berupa log dan alert dengan tampilan Graphic User Interface (GUI), sehingga memudahkan pengguna dalam menganalisa tipe serangan seperti Port Scanner, Denial of Service, Distributed Denial of Service. Output yang dihasilkan nantinya akan ditampilkan berupa log melalui Web GUI berbasis BASE dan alert melalui Kiwi Syslog Server yang berisi informasi Signature serangan, Source IP penyerang, Destination IP komputer yang diserang, Protocol Port yang digunakan penyerang dan tanggal terjadinya serangan. |

Inggris) | With the progress and development of science, especially in the field of computer networks, computer networks play an important role in communicating and exchanging information. With computer networks, the exchange of data and information will be easy, quick, precise and accurate. However, computer networks have some disadvantages, especially in terms of safety. Computer networks do not have a clear defense, so each network user must be prepared against attacks that would occur on their computers. Host-Based Intrusion Detection System (HIDS) is one of solutions to quickly detect the attacks or intrusion entered into the computer network system. HIDS can analyze malicious packets that enter directly into the computer network and provide early warning to computer users. HIDS work using Snort software to analyze malicious packets coming into the computer network based on rules or signature that has been created, then Snort create unique events of the attack. Barnyard2 will translate the unique event of Snort and save them to MySQL database. The unique event will be raised in the form of logs and alerts with the look of Graphic User Interface (GUI), making it easier for users to analyze these types of attacks such as port scanners, Denial of Service, Distributed Denial of Service. The resulting output will be displayed in the form of logs through the Web-based GUI BASE and Kiwi Syslog Server alerts by containing information Signature attack, the attacker Source IP, Destination IP computer is attacked, the attacker used Protocol port and date of the attack. |
