| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | RINGKASAN Bertambahnya penduduk berkorelasi positif dengan bertambahnya kebutuhan pemukiman. Penggunaan paving blok diarea pemukiman/perumahan yang digunakan untuk jalan dan pekarangan semakin meningkat. Kabupaten Purbalingga khususnya Desa Kalikajar Kecamatan Kaligondang, mempunyai agregat halus abu batu sangat melimpah, namun sampai sekarang potensi tersebut belum tergali secara maksimal. Penggunaan agregat halus abu batu selama ini hanya digunakan untuk sebagai bahan lapen taburan aspal diatasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kuat tekan dan daya serap air pada paving block, dengan bahan agregat halus abu batu dan pasir dari sungai klawing Purbalingga. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental, yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Mekanika dan Bahan Bangunan Teknik Sipil Unsoed. Adapun benda uji dibuat dengan ukuran panjang 20 cm, lebar 10 cm dan tinggi 6 cm, masing-masing variasi 5 sampel untuk kuat tekan dan 5 sampel daya serap air. Evaluasi hasil eksperimen dengan menggunakan substitusi abu batu 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, dengan kadar semen 20% dari berat keseluruhan menghasilkan kuat tekan sebesar 19,37 Mpa, 20,60 Mpa, 29,43 Mpa, 28,94 Mpa, termasuk klasifikasi mutu B yaitu digunakan untuk peralatan parkir, sedangkan 80% dan kadar semen 20% menghasilkan kuat tekan 41,94 Mpa termasuk klasifikasi mutu A yaitu digunakan untuk jalan. Sedangkan substitusi abu batu 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% dengan kadar semen 20% pada umur 28 hari menghasilkan nilai serap air sebesar 19,20%, 18%, 17,40%, 15,40% tidak termasuk dalam syarat standart mutu. Banyaknya kadar semen dan abu batu akan menjadikan paving block semakin kuat tekan meningkat serta serap air sedikit. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The increasing of citizen has had positive correlation with the increasing of settlements needs. The using of paving block in settlements or housing area wich is usually took in making roard and yard was highly increased. In Purbalingga regency in Kalikajar village Kaligondang subdistrict has have a very rich stone dust, but this potential have not be explored yet maximaly until now. The used of stone dust material so far only used as topping lapen on asphalt. The research was aimed to know the influence to press-strength and water absorption of paving block, with soft aggregate, stone dust, and sand as raw material from Klawing river Purbalingga. This is an experimental one, Which has held in Mechanics and Buildings Material Laboratory of Civil Engineering Faculty of Jendral Soedirman University. As for the experiment things, has made with dimension 20 cm lenght, 10 cm width, and 6 cm height, each variant took 5 samples for press-strengh and 5 samples for water absorption. The evaluation and analysis of experimental results has been created by using substitution of stone dust 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, with cement degree 20% from entire weight. It has result to press-strength of 19.37 Mpa, 20.60 Mpa, 29.43 Mpa, 28.94 Mpa. Its classified into grade B which usually used for park equipments. And for substitution of stone dust 80% with cement degree 20% has result press-strength of 41.94 Mpa which is classsifieed into grade A, this grade is usually used for roads. Meanwhile substitution of stone dust 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% with cement degree 20% within 28 days has result water absorption value of 19.20%, 18%, 17.40%, 15.40% which is not classified into standart quality conditions. The large quantity of cement degree and stone dust will made paving block press-strength increase with less water absorption power. |
