Indonesia) | PENGARUH MASSASE EKSTREMITAS DENGAN AROMA TERAPI LAVENDER TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH LANSIA HIPERTENSI DI KELURAHAN GRENDENG PURWOKERTO ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Proses penuaan terjadi secara alami dengan konsekuensi timbulnya masalah fisik, mental, dan sosial. Salah satu masalah fisik yang biasanya terjadi pada lansia adalah meningkatnya tekanan darah atau hipertensi. Tujuan: mengetahui pengaruh massage ekstremitas dengan aroma terapi lavender terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia dengan hipertensi di Kelurahan Grendeng Purwokerto. Metode: jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre test and post test design. Metode purposive sampling, penelitian pada tanggal 15 Desember – 29 Desember 2013. Instrumen menggunakan spigmomanometer dan dianalisis dengan uji wilcoxon. Hasil: Sampel penelitian sebanyak 38 responden , rentang usia 55-65 tahun. Terdapat perbedaan jumlah responden laki-laki dan perempuan yaitu dari 3 lakilaki dan 35 perempuan. Hasil rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik sebelum intervensi adalah 140,00 mmHg dan rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik setelah intervensi adalah 133,95 mmHg dengan nilai p value= 0,000. Sedangkan tekanan darah diastolik sebelum intervensi adalah 90,00 mmHg dan rata-rata tekanan diastolik setelah intervensi adalah 80,00 mmHg dengan nilai p value=0.005. Kesimpulan: ada pengaruh massage ekstremitas dengan aroma terapi lavender terhadap penurunan tekanan darah lansia hipertensi di Kelurahan Grendeng Purwokerto. Inggris) | The influence of massage ekstrimitas with aroma therapy lavender to a decrease in blood pressure for the elderly hypertension in Kelurahan Grendeng Purwokerto Abstract The background : An aging process occurring naturally the onset of physical problems, with the consequences mental, and social. Any physical problems that occurs commonly in rheumatoid arthritis is the increase in blood pressure or hypertension. Purpose : find out the influence of massage ektrimitas with aroma therapy lavender to a decrease in blood pressure on for the elderly with hypertension in Kelurahan Grendeng Purwokerto. Method : the kind of research pre-eksperiment to a draft research one group pre test and test post design. A method of purposive of sampling, research on december 15 to 29 december 2013. An instrument to use spigmomanometer and analyzed with the t-test but unormally data so alternative with wilcoxon. The result : A sample of research as many as 38 respondents, 55-65 years, the span of age there are differences the number of respondents men and women is than 3 men and 35 women. the average blood pressure systolic before the intervention is 140,00 mmHg and the average blood pressure systolic after the intervention is 133,95 mmHg with the value of p value = 0,000.
