| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi dan skala usaha terhadap pendapatan yang di peroleh peternak kambing perah serta hubungan antara motivasi dan skala usaha terhadap pendapatan “Kelompok Mendani” di Kabupaten Tegal. Penelitian dengan metode survei dengan pengambilan sampel wilayah dan responden secara purposive sampling atau sengaja sebanyak 30 peternak. Data yang diperoleh adalah data primer yang berasal dari wawancara langsung dengan responden dan data sekunder berasal dari pustaka, hasil penelitian terdahulu, dan Dinas terkait. Hubungan motivasi dan skala usaha dengan pendaptan peternak dianalisis dengan mengunakan korelasi rank spearman dan dilajutkan uji T. Hasil analisis korelasi rank spearman dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan motivasi dengan pendapatan peternak tidak berpengaruh nyata R_s= 0.138 (P>0.05), sedangkan hubungan skala usaha dengan pendapatan sangat nyata R_s= 0.934 (P>0.01). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat motivasi terdapat pada kategori tinggi yaitu peternak dalam menjalankan usahanya dengan maksud untuk mengembangkan dan memperoleh keuntungan dari usaha beternak kambing perah dan jumlah kepemilikan ternak diatas 40 ekor. Tingkat motivasi yang dimiliki oleh peternak kambing perah hendaknya dijadikan acuan untuk memberikan dukungan terutama dari perbankan untuk memberikan kemudahan pinjaman modal guna mengembangkan usaha oleh peternak serta diperlukan pengembangan sumberdaya manusia peternak secara lebih intensif bagi pemerintah dan pihak-pihak terkait dengan meningkatkan usaha beternak kambing perah. |

| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | A research entitled “motivation relationship and scale of business with dairy goat farmers income “Mendani’s Group” at Tegal Regency. The research was held from August 16th to September 21st, 2013. The purpose of this research was to determine the level of motivation and scale of business to income earned in dairy goat farmers and the relationship between motivation and scale of business of dairy goat farmers income in Mendani's Group at Tegal Regency. This research was held by survey method by taking areas and respondents sampling were held by purposive sampling the materials us much 30 farmers. Areas and respondents sampling were held by purposive sampling. The data is the primary data obtained from interviews with respondents and secondary data derived from the literature, the results of previous studies, and related agencies. The motivation relationship and scale of business with income of farmers were analyzed using the Spearman rank correlation and continued with T-test. The results of Spearman rank correlation analysis it can be concluded that the relationship of motivation with the income of farmers had no significant effect R_s=0.138 (P>0.05), while the scale of business relationships with highly significant income R_s=0.934 (P>0.01) The result of this research showed the level of motivation farmers was in high category is farmers in the operations with a view to develop and profit from the business of dairy goat breeding and the number of holdings above 40 head of cattle as much as 40% of farmers. The result of Spearman rank correlation analysis can be concluded that the motivation relationship with the income of farmers had no significant effect Rs = 0.138 (P> 0:01), while the scale of business relationships with farmers income had highly significant Rs=0.934 (P<0:01). The level of dairy goat farmers motivation should be used as a reference to provide support, primarily from banks to provide easy loans and developing the business by farmers and human resource development was needed to more intensively for the government and relevant parties to improve dairy goat farmers business. |
