| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Wortel adalah sayuran umbi yang digemari dan harganya terjangkau oleh masyarakat. Wortel telah menjadi sumber nutrisi bagi kesehatan.. Teknik budidaya tanaman wortel di dataran rendah yang mampu mengatur suhu tanah dan memenuhi ketersediaan hara salah satunya menggunakan aplikasi pemulsaan dan pemberian pupuk organik cair berupa Leachate. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk organik cair (POC) Leachate Plus yang optimal pada wortel, mengetahui ketebalan mulsa jerami padi yang paling baik pada wortel, dan mengetahui ada tidaknya interaksi dosis pupuk organik cair (POC) Leachate Plus dan ketebalan mulsa jerami padi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan exfarm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Kecamatan Purwokerto, Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April sampai Agustus 2013. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok lengkap (RAKL) dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yang dicoba yaitu dosis pupuk organik cair leachate plus terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu: tanpa pupuk atau kontrol (D0), dosis 500cc/m2 (D1), dosis 750 cc/ m2 (D2), dan dosis 1000 cc/ m2 (D3). Faktor kedua merupakan ketebalan mulsa terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu: ketebalan mulsa jerami 1 lapis (M1), ketebalan mulsa jerami 2 lapis (M2), dan ketebalan mulsa jerami 3 lapis (M3). Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun per tanaman (helai), diameter umbi (cm), panjang umbi (cm), volume umbi (ml), bobot umbi segar per tanaman (g), bobot umbi segar per petak efektif (g), bobot tajuk segar tanaman (g), bobot tajuk kering tanaman (g). Data dianalisis dengan analisis varian, jika uji F menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan, dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT dengan taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosis pupuk cair lecahate plus 500 cc/ m2 memberikan hasil tertinggi pada variabel tinggi tanaman. Perlakuan ketebalan mulsa jerami 1 lapis, 2 lapis, dan 3 lapis tidak menunjukkan pengaruh terhadap variabel pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman wortel pada tanah inceptisol. Tidak terdapat interaksi pada semua variabel antara dosis pupuk organik cair leachate plus dengan ketebalan mulsa jerami terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman wortel. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Carrots is a popular tuber vegetable and affordable by the community. Carrots is a source of nutrition for health . One of the plant cultivation techniques capable of regulating soil temperature and nutrient availability is mulching and application of liquid organic fertilizer in the form of Leachate. This research aims to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer ( LOF ) Leachate Plus optimals on carrots,to determine the best rice straw mulch thickness on carrots, and determine whether there is an interaction between dose liquid organic fertilizer ( LOF ) Leachate Plus and rice straw mulch thickness. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, exfarm land of Jenderal Soedirman University , Purwokerto, Banyumas. The research was conducted from April to August 2013 . The research used complete randomized block design with 3 replications . The first factor is liquid organic fertilizer ( LOF ) Leachate Plus consists of 4 levels : without fertilizer or control ( D0 ) , dose 500cc/ m2 ( D1 ) , a dose of 750 cc/m2 ( D2 ) , and a dose of 1000 cc / m2 ( D3 ) . The second factor is the kind of mulch consists of three kinds : 1 layer of straw mulch thickness ( M1 ) , the thickness of 2 layers of straw mulch ( M2 ) , and a thickness of 3 layers of straw mulch ( M3 ) . Data were analyzed by analysis of variance , if the F-test showed a very real difference to the observation variables , followed by DMRT at 5% level . The results showed a dose of liquid fertilizer lecahate plus 500 cc / M2 gave the highest yield on a variable height. Treatment of straw mulch thickness layer 1 , layer 2 and layer 3 showed that it has no effect on the growth and yield variables on the carrots on Inceptisol ground . There is no interaction at all between the variables leachate liquid organic fertilizer plus the thickness of straw mulch on growth and yield of carrots . |
