| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas eksterior telur berbagai jenis ayam Sentul di Kelompok Tani Ternak “Ciung Wanara”di Kecamatan Ciamis Kabupaten Ciamis. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berbagai jenis ayam Sentul yang dipelihara di kelompok tani ternak Ciung Wanara kecamatan Ciamis kabupaten Ciamis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei yang penetapan sampelnya menggunakan purposive sampling (6 peternak untuk tiap jenis ayam Sentul dan 5 butir telur tiap peternak). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Sebagai perlakuan adalah berbagai jenis ayam Sentul dan sebagai kelompok adalah peternak. Variabel yang diuji yaitu bobot, volume, dan indeks telur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rataan bobot telur berbagai jenis ayam Sentul untuk Sentul Abu, Sentul Batu, Sentul Debu, Sentul Emas, Sentul Geni berturut turut adalah 45,07±9,14 g, 43,53±1,32 g, 44,33±6,74 g, 40,47±2,91 g, 38,13±2,58 g. Rataan volume telur berbagai jenis ayam Sentul untuk Sentul Abu, Sentul Batu, Sentul Debu, Sentul Emas, Sentul Geni berturut turut adalah 42,43±9,41 ml, 40,53±1,32 ml, 41,17±6,44 ml, 37,47±2,91 ml, 35,33±2,23 ml. Rataan indeks telur berbagai jenis ayam Sentul untuk Sentul Abu, Sentul Batu, Sentul Debu, Sentul Emas, Sentul Geni berturut turut adalah 77,59±1,44 %, 77,31±1,55 %, 74,91±1,17 %, 76,23±2,41 %, 77,39±2,75 %. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jenis ayam Sentul berpengaruh tidak nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot, volume dan indeks telur ayam Sentul. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah berbagai jenis ayam Sentul menghasilkan bobot, volume dan indeks telur yang relatif sama. |

Inggris) | The research aimed to learn the exterior quality of egg of Sentul chicken in “Ciung Wanara” farmer group in sub district of Ciamis, Ciamis Regency.The material used were several kind of sentul chicken which were maintained in “Ciung Wanara” farmer group in sub district Ciamis, Ciamis regency. The method used was survey method which had purposive sampling (6 farmer for each kind of sentul chicken and 5 eggs for each farmer), The data were analyzed using Randomized Complete Block Designe. As treatment were several kinds of sentul chicken and as group is a farmer. The dependent variable which were analyzed were egg weight, egg volume, and egg index of sentul chicken. Based on the results, the average of egg weights of Sentul abu, Sentul batu, Sentul debu, Sentul emas and Sentul geni were 45,07±9,14 g, 43,53±6,74 g, 44,33±6,74 g, 40,47±2,91 g, 38,13±2,58 g. Egg volume of Sentul abu, Sentul batu, Sentul debu, Sentul emas and Sentul geni were 42,43±9,41 ml, 40,53±1,32 ml, 41,17±6,44 ml, 37,47±2,91 ml, 35,33±2,23 ml. Egg index of Sentul abu, Sentul batu, Sentul debu, Sentul emas and Sentul geni were 77,59±1,44%, 77,31±1,55 %, 74,91±1,17 %, 76,23±2,41 %, 77,39±2,75 %. The results showed that the kind of Sentul chickens had no effect the exterior quality of egg in terms of egg weight, egg volume and egg index of Sentul chickens in significant (P<0,05), It can be concluded that any kind several Sentul chickens had similiarly values of egg weight, the average of egg volume and egg index. |
