| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem budidaya dan proses pengolahan yang baik akan menunjukan bobot kandungan yang dihasilkan. paling tinggi dengan penggunaan asam yang berbeda terhadap bobot rendemen karaginan Eucheuma cottonii. Kombinasi sistem penanaman dan pengasaman diharapkan dapat menghasilkan bobot rendemen karaginan Eucheuma cottonii tertinggi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini secara eksperimental dengan RAL yang diulang 5 kali. Perlakuan sistem budidaya terdiri dari sistem tali tunggal, sistem jaring tabung, dan sistem jaring tubuler. Pengukuran parmeter utama yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah pertambahan berat basah rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii. Parameter pendukung kualitas air antara lain pengukuran suhu, salinitas, derajat keasaman (pH), dan penetrasi cahaya. Pengamatan dan pengambilan data dilakukan pada 10, 20, 30, dan 40 hari setelah tanam (hst). Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa sistem budidaya rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii pada pertambahan 10 hst adalah berbeda nyata diperoleh perlakuan metode budidaya apung sistem jaring tabung dengan rata-rata tertinggi yaitu 63,0, sistem budidaya rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii pada pertambahan 20 hst adalah berbeda nyata diperoleh perlakuan metode budidaya apung dengan sistem jaring tabung dengan rata-rata tertinggi yaitu 85,0, sistem budidaya rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii pertambahan 30 hst adalah berbeda sangat nyata diperoleh perlakuan metode budidaya apung dengan sistem jaring tabung dengan rata-rata tertinggi yaitu 108,0, sistem budidaya rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii pertambahan 40 hst adalah berbeda sangat nyata diperoleh perlakuan metode budidaya apung dengan sistem jaring tabung dengan rata-rata tertinggi yaitu 138,0. Hasil analisis ragam bobot karaginan di tunjukkan sistem budidaya rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii tidak berpengaruh berbeda nyata terhadap bobot rendemen karaginan yang dihasilkan tersebut analisis bobot karaginan yang diperoleh telah menunjukan adanya perbedaan antara perlakuan yang dicobakan. |

Inggris) | This research aimed to determine the effect of cultivation and processing system that will either show the highest content of carragenan produced by the use of different acids to the weight of Eucheuma cottonii carragenan. The combination of planting and acidification system are expected to produce the highest yield of carragenan Eucheuma cottonii. The method used was experimental using Completely Randomized design (CRD) that repeated 5 times. The treatments consisted of cultivating a single rope system, tube net system, and a system of tubular nets. Variables observed consisted of independent and dependent variables The independent variable was the culture system. The dependent variable were the growth and weight of carragenan. The main parmeter were growth and carragenan weight. Seaweed growth was measured by wet weight of Eucheuma cottonii seaweed. Observations and data collection were done at 10, 20, 30, and 40 days after planting (dap). The treatment results of the analysis showed that the system Eucheuma cottonii seaweed cultivation at 10 days after planting increase is highly significant treatment obtained by the method of cultivation buoyancy tube net system with the highest average 63,0. Eucheuma cottonii seaweed cultivation system Eucheuma cottonii on 20 days after planting increase is significantly different treatment obtained by the method of cultivation buoyancy tube net system with the highest average 85,0, Eucheuma cottonii seaweed cultivation system cottonii dap 30 days after planting significantly different obtained by the method of cultivation buoyancy tube net system with the highest average 108,0, Eucheuma cottonii seaweed cultivation at 40 days after planting increase is highly significant treatment obtained by the method of cultivation buoyancy tube net system with the highest average 138,0. Results of analysis of variance in weight show Eucheuma cottonii seaweed farming systems not significantly different effect on the weight of the resulting yield of carrageenan carrageenan weight analysis obtained have shown the differences between the tested treatments.
