| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Bertambahnya penduduk berkorelasi positif dengan bertambahnya kebutuhan pemukiman. Kebutuhan batako sebagai salah satu bahan dalam pembangunan pemukiman menuntut untuk mencari alternatif sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan batako. Kekuatan, keawetan dan sifat batako tergantung pada sifat-sifat bahan-bahan dasarnya, nilai perbandingan bahan-bahannya, cara pengadukan, cara pengerjaan selama penuangan adukan, cara pemadatan, dan cara perawatan selama proses pengerasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh substitusi agregat bottom ash dan agregat halus sebagai bahan pembuat batako pejal terhadap kuat tekan batako, besar persentase kadar penyerapan air dari batako yang dihasilkan serta untuk mengetahui tingkatan mutu batako, mengacu pada SNI 03-0349-1989. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Benda uji penelitian ini menggunakan bahan campuran bottom ash 10%, 20%, 30%,40%, 50% dan 60% dari agregat penyusun batako serta 0% bottom ash sebagai pembanding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kuat tekan batako pejal dipengaruhi oleh persentase substitusi bottom ash dalam bahan penyusun batako. Nilai persentase penyerapan air meningkat sebanding dengan besar substitusi bottom ash. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena semakin banyak bottom ash maka semakin besar rongga-rongga udara dalam batako sehingga air akan lolos. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan batako dengan substitusi bottom ash sebesar 10%, 20%, 40%, 50%, dan 60% masih termasuk dalam mutu yang disyaratkan dalam SNI 03-0349-1989. Kuat tekan batako dan penyerapan air dengan perbandingan agregat dan semen sebesar 7 : 1 untuk substitusi bottom ash sebaiknya menggunakan bottom ash yang lolos ayakan lebih kecil dari 5 mm. |

Inggris) | The more have positive infuence with more need housing The need of concrete block is one of material for make housing suc to look for alternative as the basic material in concrete block production. The strong preservation, and the characteristic of concrete brick depend on the characteristic, the value comparison, the way of mixing, and the production process of its basic material, the compaction way, and the treatment of its basic materials. The goal of this research is tto know the influence substitution bottom ash and smooth as the material of masive concrete block for strong presure concrete block, the big percent content reserve water from concrete block which is product wich for to know level quality of concrete block,rever on SNI 03-0349-1989. This recearce is the expenriment recearch. The experiment objest of this recearch use mix material bottom ash 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, and 60%. From concrete block with 0% bottom ash as equivalent. The result of recearch show that strong presure concrete block influenced by substitution bottom ash on the material of concrete block. The presentation of value absorb water step up level as with the big of substitute bottom ash. That watter caused by increasingly more bottom ash., so the big more space pf air on concrete block until the water will slip off. The result of experiment strong presure concrete block with substitution bottom ash as big as 10%, 20%, 40%, 50%, and 60%, still on quality which is reavisite on SNI 03-0349-1989. The strrong presure concrete brick and cement as big as 7 : 1 for substitute bottom ash better use bottom ash which slip of sifter more small from 5 mm.. |
