| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Kecamatan Sumbang merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Banyumas, Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Kecamatan Sumbang merupakan daerah sentra penghasil jagung di Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalis keunggulan komparatif komoditas jagung di Kabupaten Banyumas, (2) menganalis Private Profitability (PP) dan Social Profitability (SP) komoditas jagung di Kabupaten Banyumas, (3) mengetahui tingkat sensitivitas keunggulan komparatif komoditas jagung terhadap perubahan harga input dan output. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini sebesar 30 orang petani responden. Penentuan jumlah sampel berdasarkan metode nonprobability sampling dengan teknik snowball sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan meliputi data sekunder dan data primer. Metode analisis menggunakan Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) dan Koefisien Biaya Sumberdaya Domestik (KBSD). Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) digunakan untuk dapat mengetahui nilai Private Profitability (PP) dan Social Profitability (SP). Koefisien Biaya Sumberdaya Domestik (KBSD) digunakan untuk mengetahui apakah komoditas jagung di Kecamatan Sumbang memiliki keunggulan komparatif. Hasil penelitian analisis Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) menunjukan nilai Private Profitability (PP) usahatani jagung di Kecamatan Sumbang sebesar Rp1.887.260,00 dan nilai Social Profitability (SP) usahatani jagung di Kecamatan Sumbang sebesar Rp7.763.244,00. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai Koefisien Biaya Sumberdaya Domestik (KBSD) komoditas jagung di Kecamatan Sumbang sebesar 0,39. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa komoditas jagung di Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas memiliki keunggulan komparatif karena nilai KBSD < 1, sehingga usahatani jagung di Kecamatan Sumbang efisien secara ekonomi dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya domestik. Analisis sensitivitas menunjukan bahwa keunggulan komparatif komoditas jagung di Kecamatan Sumbang memiliki tingkat sensitivitas yang kecil terhadap perubahan harga input dan output. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The Subdistrict of Sumbang is one of the subdistricts in Banyumas Regency, the Province of Central Java. The Subdistrict of Sumbang is the central area of corn producing in Banyumas Regency. Corn as a kind of palawija plants is one of Indonesian national food and has positive contribution to people growth, farm and for development of industry which use corn as its raw material. The Subdistrict of Sumbang has good potency in developing corn farms. This research aimed to (1) analyze the comparative advantage of corn commodities, (2) analyze Private Profitability (PP) and Social Profitability (SP) of corn commodities, (3) to know the sensitivity level of the comparative advantage of corn commodities with the changes in input and output prices. This research was held in the Subdistrict of Sumbang, Banyumas Regency. The total amount of respondents was 30 farmer respondents who live in the Subdistrict of Sumbang. The amount of sample was decided based on nonprobability sampling method with snowball sampling technics. The type of data used includes the primary and the secondary data. The secondary data was collected from the Department of Agriculture and the Central Institution of Statistics of Banyumas Regency. The primary data was collected from the result of interview with the farmer respondents in the Subdistrict of Sumbang. The analysis method used in this research was Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) and Coefficient of Domestic Resources Costs (CDRC). PAM method was used to know the value of Private Profitability (PP) and Social Profitability (SP). The Coefficient of Domestic Resources Cost (CDRC) was used to know whether the corn commodities in the Subdistrict of Sumbang has the comparative advantage or not. The analysis result of Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) shows the amount of Private Profitability (PP) of corn bussiness in the Subdistrict of Sumbang was Rp 1.887.260,00 and the amount of Social Profitability (SP) of corn bussiness in te Subdistrict of Sumbang was Rp 7.763.244,00. The result of this resarch shows that the Coefficient of Domestic Resources Cost (CDRC) of corn commodities in the Subdistrict of Sumbang was 0,39. Based on the result of analysis, it was found that corn commodities in the Subdistrict of Sumbang, Banyumas Regency has the comparative advantage because the Coefficient of Domestic Resources Cost (CDRC) < 1, so that corn bussiness in the Subdistrict of Sumbang is economically efficient in achieving the advantages of domestic resources. Based on the result of analysis, the comparative advantage of corn commodities in the Subdistrict of Sumbang has low sensitivity with the changes in input and output prices. Based on the result found in this research, several advices can be given as follows: (1) the corn production in the Subdistrict of Sumbang need to be increased by doing some improvement measures such as expanding the corn farm area and by increasing the human resources (corn farmer) knowledge about corn planting technics. (2) It is recommended to do a next research on this topic especially in the developing area of corn comodity in the province of Central Java, so that can be achieved a basic data about the comparative advantages of corn comodity in the province of Central Java. |
