| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Latar Belakang: Bencana banjir merupakan peristiwa atau rangkaian peristiwa yang mengancam dan mengganggu kehidupan dan penghidupan masyarakat sehingga mengakibatkan timbulnya korban jiwa manusia, kerusakan lingkungan, kerugian harta benda, dan dampak psikologis.Sidareja adalah salah satu desa di Kecamatan Sidareja yang termasuk dalam 131 desa rawan bencana. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji lebih dalam pengalaman masyarakat saat bencana banjir. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan model analisis interaktif Milles dan Hubberman. Hasil Penelitian: Penelitian ini menghasilkan 7 tema yaitu dampak yang muncul akibat banjir, kebutuhan dasar masyarakat saat banjir, pengetahuan mengenai banjir, harapan, peran masyarakat saat banjir, mekanisme koping masyarakat terhadap dampak banjir, dan upaya pemerintah terhadap banjir. Kesimpulan: Banjir yang sering terjadi di Desa Sidareja menjadipengalaman pada masyarakat.Pengalaman masyarakat Desa Sidareja saat banjir membuat masyarakat mengetahui penyebab banjir, dampak fisik dan dampak psikologi akibat banjir sehingga muncul mekanisme koping, masyarakat ikut berperan menjadi relawan saat banjir, muncul harapan dan adanya upaya pemerintah terhadap banjir. |

Inggris) | The background: The flood is event or sequence of events that threatening and the disturbing peoples lives and living, so that resulting in deaths, environmental and damage, loss of property, and psycological impact. Sidareja is one of the villages in Sidareja district which is included in 131 villages of liable to disaster. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to examine the peoples experiences when happening the flood. Methods: This research uses qualitative method with phenomenological approach. Sampling conducted using purposive sampling method and analyzed using interactive analysis model of Milles and Hubberman. Results of the research: This research produce 7 themes, ther are the impact of the flood, basic needs of people when happening the flood, the people knowledge about the flood, hopes, the peoples role during the flood, the coping mechanism of the people to the flood impact and goverment efforts to the flood. Conclusion:The frequent flooding in Sidareja village become an experience to the people. The people experiences in Sidareja village when happening the flood make the people knowing couses of the people, physical and psychological impact of the flood, so coping mechanism appears, the peoples contribute to be volunteer when flooding, hopes arise and goverments efforts to the flood. |
