| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian yang dilaporkan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas organ reproduksi jantan dan betina itik lokal (Anas platyrhynchos) pasca perlakuan probiotik berbagai dosis selama 30 hari. Eksperimen rancangan acak lengkap, empat dosis (0cc; 0,75cc; 1,5 cc; 3 cc /kg pakan) probiotik sebagai perlakuan, disusun dengan unit penelitian rasio itik jantan:betina=1:5, ulangan 4 kali. Probiotik diberikan dua kali sehari pagi (06.00-07.00) dan sore (14.30 – 15.30). Total 100 ekor itik dipelihara dalam kandang type slat. Pada hari ke-31 organ-organ reproduksi itik perlakuan diukur. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ukuran ovarium, oviduct keseluruhan, panjang oviduct bagian istmus,uterus, dan vagina tidak berbeda nyata antar perlakuan (P>0.05). Rerat ukuran panjang oviduct bagian magnum berbeda nyata (P<0.05) antar dosis probiotik. Organ reproduksi jantan, bobot testis kiri, testis kanan, vas deferens kanan, juga tidak berbeda nyata (P>0.05). Rerata ukuran vas deferen kiri berbeda nyata (P<0.05) antar dosis probiotik. Indeks gonadosomatik (GSI) pasca perlakuan probiotik meningkat dosis 0 =10,5;dosis 0,75=12,61; dosis 1,5=11,06; dan dosis 3=11,5. Indeks hepatosomatik (HSI) pasca perlakuan probiotik juga meningkat dosis 0=23,07 ; dosis 0,75=29,46; dosis 1,5=56,18; dan dosis 3=27,76. Probiotik terbukti meningkatkan beberapa parameter kinerja reproduksi, keseluruhan organ reproduksi terbukti tidak secara nyata dipengaruhi probiotik. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | The need for duck meat nowadays increases as the increase of the market demand. Local duck (Anas Platyrynchos) has a big potency to develop and to use as the supply for the protein need for the society because it has more advantageous, such as: it easily adapts to its environment, it has high resistance to some diseases and it has great varieties. The use of pre-biotic as a supplement in animal-feed in non-reproduction aspects has been effectively proven increase the measure and health of the poultry itself, meanwhile for the reproduction aspect, it still needs further identification and to be exact, the research for ducks has never been published. This research aims to analyze the effect of pro-biotic to the fecundity and the measure of organ of reproduction system of the local duck (Anas Platyrhynchos). The research was conducted in Karangcegak village, Sumbang and the poultry laboratory of Husbandry Faculty of Jenderal Soedirman University. This experimental research used completely randomized design by using four treatments and four repeat units. The research units were drakes: female ducks = 1:5. The treatment were R0 (Pro-biotic 0 mL/kg feed or control), R1 (Pro-biotic 0,75 mL/kg feed), R2 (Pro-biotic 1,5 mL/kg feed), and R3 (Pro-biotic 3 mL/kg feed). The variable of the research was fecundity which was counted by using gonad-somatic index (gonad weigh/body weigh x 100%) and hepatic-somatic index (hepatic weigh/body weigh x 100%), ovary weigh, total weigh of the organ of reproduction system, the length of oviduct, uterus and vagina, the weigh of testis and the length of vas deferens. The collected data was then analyzed by using one-way analysis of variance (Test F) by using SPSS software version 17 and Excel 2010. The result proves that the pro-biotic supplements in various doses during 30-day treatment, from the fecundity parameter, they do not increase the reproduction, however, from the measure parameter of the organ of reproduction system, they are proven in increasing the measure of oviduct, especially the magnum part and not to the other organs of reproduction system such as infundibulum, isthmus, uterus, and vagina. The further research is undoubtedly needed to make sure that the pro-biotic supplements is truly needed to increase the reproduction |
