| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Abstrak Latar belakang: KB merupakan upaya pemerintah Indonesia mengendalikan jumlah penduduk dengan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi. Sejak diberlakukan program KB hingga saat ini jumlh akseptor pria hanya 3,8% (2011) dan sisanya wanita. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya keikutsertaan suami dalam program KB di kelurahan Teluk. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan terhadap 92 suami pasangan usia subur yang terdiri dari 17 akseptor KB dan 75 bukan akseptor KB yang diambil dengan cara simple random sampling . Analisis statistik menggunakan uji chi square untuk bivariat dan regresi logistik untuk multivariat. Hasil penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan rendahnya keikutsertaan suami dalam program KB (p=0,107) , tidak ada hubungan antara lingkungan dengan rendahnya keikutsertaan suami dalam program KB (p=0,052), ada hubungan antara keterbatasan aksesibilitas informasi dan pelayanan kontrasepsi pria dengan rendahnya keikutsertaan suami dalam program KB (p=0,000), ada hubungan antara keterbatasan jenis kontrasepsi dengan rendahnya keikutsertaan suami dalam program KB (p=0,000) dan keterbatasan aksesibilitas informasi dan pelayanan kontrasepsi pria merupakan faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi rendahnya keikutsertaan suami dalam program KB (EXP.(B)=18,380). Kesimpulan: Faktor pengetahuan dan lingkungan tidak mempengaruhi rendahnya keikutsertaan suami dalam program KB. Faktor keterbatasan aksesibilitas informasi dan pelayanan kontrasepsi pria dan faktor keterbatasan jenis kontrasepsi berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya keikutsertaan suami dalam program KB. Faktor keterbatasan aksesibilitas informasi dan pelayanan kontrasepsi pria merrpakan faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi rendahnya keikutsertaan suami dalam program KB. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Abstract Background:KB is the Indonesian government's efforts to control the population with the use of contraceptives. Since the family planning program implemented until now, men acceptor only 3.8% (2011). Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect husband’s low participation in family planning programs at Kelurahan Teluk. Methods: This research is a descriptive cross sectional study, respondent that involved in this study is 92 fertile couples husbands consisting of 17 instead of 75 acceptors, and acceptors taken by simple random sampling. Data was analyzed by chi square test for bivariate and logistic regression for multivariat. The results: The results showed no association between husband's knowledge and the husband's low participation in the program (p = 0.107), there was no relationship between environment with husband's low participation in the program (p = 0.052), there was a relationship between the limited information accessibility and male contraception servicewith husband's low participation in the program (p = 0.000), there was a relationship between the limited types of contraception for male with husband's low participation in the program (p = 0.000) and the limited accessibility of information and services for male contraception was the most dominant factor that affects the low participation of husband in family planning programs (exp. (B) = 18.380). Conclusion: knowle dge and environmental factors did not affect the husband's lack of participation in the program. In other side, limited accessibility of information and contraceptive services for male affected the husband's low participation in the program. Limited the accessibility of information factor was the most affecting factor. |
