| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji interaksi antara level protein dengan level kombinasi Azolla microphilla dan Lemna pollyrhiza, pengaruh penggunaan level protein dan pengaruh penggunaan Azolla microphilla dan Lemna pollyrhiza dalam pakan itik Peking umur 8 minggu terhadap Water Holding Capacity dan Cooking Losses. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah itik Peking unsexed, Azolla microphilla dan Lemna pollyrhiza, ransum basal dengan protein 16%, 18%, dan 20%. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental in vivo menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 3 x 4. Faktor pertama adalah kombinasi Azolla microphilla dan Lemna pollyrhiza terdiri dari Azolla 0% dan Lemna 0% (AL0), Azolla 15% dan Lemna 5% (AL1), Azolla 10% dan Lemna 10%(AL2), dan Azolla 5% dan Lemna 15%(AL3). Faktor kedua adalah level protein terdiri dari 16% (P1), 18%(P2), dan 20%(P3). Terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan. Data yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pengamatan ditabulasikan dalam tabel, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Apabila tiap pengaruh perlakuan berpengaruh nyata, maka dilakukan uji lanjut dengan uji beda nyata jujur dan Ortogonal Polinomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian Azolla microphilla dan Lemna pollirhyza pada ransum itik Peking hingga umur delapan minggu berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap Water Holding Capacity (WHC) dan Cooking Losses daging itik Peking umur delapan minggu. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kombinasi Azolla microphilla dan Lemna pollirhyza diperoleh nilai Water Holding Capacity dan Cooking Losses yang relatif sama. Water Holding Capacity daging itik Peking berkisar antara 27,7%-47,0 % dan Cooking Losses antara 25,7%-28,7%. Akan tetapi level protein dan kombinasi kedua bahan masih dapat digunakan sebagai pakan alternative |

Inggris) | The purpose of the research is to examine the interaction between the protein level with the level combination of Azolla microphilla and Lemna pollyrhiza , the effect of the use of protein level and the use of Azolla microphilla and Lemna pollyrhiza in 8 weeks Peking duck feed on Water Holding Capacity and Cooking Losses . The material that is used in this study is the Peking duck unsexed, Azolla microphilla and Lemna pollyrhiza, basal diet with 16 % protein, 18%, and 20%. The research method is experimental in vivo study using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial 3 x 4. The first factor is the Azzola microphilla combination and Lemna pollyrhiza consists of Azolla 0% and Lemna 0 % (AL0), Azolla 15 % and Lemna 5 % (AL1), Azolla 10 % and Lemna 10 % (AL2), and Azolla 5 % and Lemna 15 % (AL3). The second factor is the level of the protein consists of 16 % (P1), 18 % (P2), and 20 % (P3). There are 12 combinations of treatments with 3 replications. The data obtained by observation are tabulated in the table, then analyzed by using variance analysis. If each significant treatment gives the real effect, so the next testing is Honestly Significant Diffrence Test and Orthogonal Polynomials. The results showed that giving Azolla microphilla and Lemna pollirhyza on 8 weeks Peking duck did not affect significantly (P > 0.05) on Water Holding Capacity (WHC) and 8 weeks Peking duck meat Cooking Losses. It is Concluded that the use of a combination of Azolla microphilla and Lemna pollirhyza values obtained Water Holding Capacity and Cooking Losses were relatively similar. Water Holding Capacity Peking duck meat ranged between 27.7% -47.0% and Cooking Losses between 25.7% -28.7%. However, the protein levels and the combination of both materials can still be used as an alternative feed. |
