| Judul Artikel | Pengaruh Dosis Pupuk Vermikompos dan Pupuk N terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Caisim (Brassica parachinensis L) |

| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh dosis vermikompos terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman caisim, 2) pengaruh dosis pupuk N terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman caisim dan 3) dosis vermikompos dan pupuk N yang optimal terhadap bobot segar tanaman caisim. Penelitian dilaksanakan di screen house Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, dengan ketinggian tempat 110 meter diatas permukaan laut (mdpl) selama bulan Maret 2013 sampai Mei 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan perlakuan empat taraf dosis vermikompos (0, 20, 40, 60 g/polibag) dan empat taraf dosis pupuk N ((0; 0,1; 0,2; 0,3 g N/polibag) dan tiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan analisis ragam (uji F) dan jika terdapat pengaruh yang berbeda nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Rentang Ganda Duncan dengan p=0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian dosis vermikompos 20 g/polibag meningkatkan hasil dan menunjukkan hasil paling tinggi pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan luas daun, sedangkan pada panjang akar primer, bobot segar tajuk, bobot kering tajuk, bobot segar akar dan bobot kering akar menunjukkan hasil paling tinggi pada pemberian dosis pupuk vermikompos sebesar 60 g/polibag, pemberian pupuk N 0,3 g/polibag meningkatkan luas daun dan bobot kering tajuk, sedangkan bobot segar tajuk, bobot segar akar dan bobot kering akar menunjukkan hasil optimalnya pada pemberian dosis pupuk N sebesar 0,2 g/polibag, dan belum diketahuinya dosis vermikompos yang optimal terhadap bobot segar tajuk tanaman caisim sedangkan pada dosis pupuk N, yang optimal yaitu pada dosis 0,2 g/polibag. |

Inggris) | The objectives of this study were to determine: 1) the effect of vermicompost dose on growth and yield of caisim, 2) the effect of N fertilizer on the growth and yield of caisim and 3) Optimum doses of vermicompost and N fertilizer on plant fresh weight of caisim. The study was conducted in screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto, with altitude of 110 meters above sea level (mdpl) during March 2013 to May 2013. Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) was applied with four levels dose of vermicompost (0, 20, 40, 60 g/polybag) and four levels of N fertilizer (0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 g N/polybag) and repeated three times. Variables observed were plant height, number of leaf, leaf area, primary root length, fresh weight of shoot, dry weight of shoot, fresh weight of root, and dry weight of root. Results were analyzed by analysis of variance (F test) and if there was different effects, continued by Duncan's Multiple Range Test at p=0.05. The results showed that vermicompost dose of 20 g/polybag improve the results and show the highest results on plant height, amount of leaves and leaf area, while the primary root length, fresh weight of canopy, dry weight of shoot, fresh weight of root and dry weight of root showed the highest results in the vermicompost dose of 60 g/polybag, N fertilizer dose of 0.3 g/polybag increase leaf area and dry weight of shoot, meanwhile fresh weight of shoot, fresh weight of root and dry weight of root showing optimal results in N fertilizer dose of 0.2 g/polybag, and did not already know the optimal dose of vermicompost on fresh weight of shoot of caisim while the dose of N fertilizer, which is in the optimal dose of 0.2 g/polybag. |
