| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji interaksi kombinasi Azolla microphylla dan Lemna polyrrhiza pada level protein yang berbeda terhadap kolesterol daging dan kolesterol darah itik Peking. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 16 Maret sampai 20 April 2013 di Experimental Farm dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan, UNSOED, Purwokerto. Rancangan Penelitaian menggunakan Pola Faktorial 4x3, dengan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Sebagai Faktor pertama kombinasi Azolla microphylla (a) dengan Lemna polyrrhiza (l), faktor kedua level protein (p). Faktor pertama yaitu al0 (0% Azolla microphylla dan 0% Lemna polyrrhiza), al1 (15% Azolla microphylla dan 5% Lemna polyrrhiza), al2 (10% Azolla microphylla dan 10% Lemna polyrrhiza), al3 (5% Azolla microphylla dan 15% Lemna polyrrhiza) yang dikombinasikan dengan berbagai level protein p1 (protein 16%), p2 (protein 18%), p3 (protein 20%), terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan dengan ulangan sebanyak tiga kali dan setiap ulangan terdiri dari tiga ekor itik Peking unsexed. Peubah yang diamati adalah kadar kolesterol daging dan kolesterol darah itik Peking. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan dan diuji lanjut dengan Beda Nyata Jujur. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa interaksi kombinasi Azolla microphylla dan Lemna polyrrhiza pada level protein pakan yang berbeda dalam pakan perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) pada kolesterol daging, sedangkan berpengaruh tidak nyata(P>0,05) pada kolesterol darah itik Peking. Interaksi kombinasi Azolla microphylla dan Lemna polyrrhiza menunjukkan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05), sedangkan level protein dalam pakan perlakuan masing-masing menunjukkan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kadar kolesterol daging itik Peking umur delapan minggu. Kesimpulan penggunaan kombinasi 5% Azzolla microphylla dan 15% Lemna polyrrizha dalam pakan itik Peking umur delapan minggu pada level protein 20% dapat menurunkan kolesterol daging sebesar 9,89%. Penggunaan kombinasi Azolla microphylla dan Lemna polyrrhiza dalam pakan dengan protein 16, 18, dan 20% yang memberi efek level kolesterol darah yang relatif sama pada itik Peking umur 8 minggu. |

Inggris) | The study was to examine the interaction of a combination of Azolla microphylla and Lemna polyrrhiza at different levels of protein on meat cholesterol and blood cholesterol Peking duck.The experiment was conducted on March 16, until 20 April 2013 at at the Experimental Farm and Nutrition and Feed Science Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science UNSOED, Purwokerto. The study was conducted using 4x3 factorial pattern, with completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was a combination of Azolla microphylla (a) with Lemna polyrrhiza (l), the second factor was protein level (p). The first factor is al 0 (0% and 0% Azolla microphylla polyrrhiza Lemna), al 1 (15% Azolla microphylla and 5% Lemna polyrrhiza), al 2 (10% Azolla microphylla and 10% Lemna polyrrhiza), al 3 (5% Azolla microphylla% and 15% Lemna polyrrhiza) it was combined with levels of protein p 1 (16%), p 2 (18%), p 3 (20%). There were 12 treatment combinations repeated three times, consisted of three unsexed Peking ducks. The parameters observed in this study were the meat cholesterol levels and blood cholesterol of Peking duck. The data were variance analyzed to determine the effect of treatment and tested further by Honestly Significant Difference Test. The results of analysis of variance showed that the combination of interaction and Azolla microphylla Lemna polyrrhiza at different dietary protein levels in feed treatment significantly (P <0,05) affected meat cholesterol, while the effect was not significant (P >0,05) at blood cholesterol Peking duck. Interactin of combination Azolla microphylla and Lemna polyrrhiza not significant (P>0,05), while the protein level in each treatment showed significant (P<0,05) Further test results with Tukey showed highly significant effect in the combined treatment of al3p2 against al0p3, al2p3 , al3p 3. Significantly different in the treatment of al1p1 to al0p 3 , al3p3, and treatment of al1p 2 against al3p 2. The conclusion of the use of a combination of 5% and 15% Azzolla microphylla Lemna polyrrizha in Peking duck feed at the age of eight weeks at the level of 20% protein can decreased 9,89%meat cholesterol. The combined use of Azolla microphylla and Lemna polyrrhiza protein in feed with 16, 18, and 20% gave a relative by similar levels of blood cholesterol of Peking duks at age 8 weeks. |
