| Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia) | Limbah minyak nilam dan jamur entomopatogen berpotensi sebagai agen pengendali wereng batang coklat (WBC). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengevaluasi pengaruh limbah minyak nilam terhadap pertumbuhan jamur entomopatogen, 2) mengkaji kemempanan limbah minyak nilam dan jamur entomopatogen terhadap mortalitas hama WBC. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2012 sampai April 2013 di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan rumah kaca Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua percobaan. Percobaan pertama dilakukan secara in vitro menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kolompok (RAK) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari Fusarium cf. solani, Metarhizium anisopliae, Beauveria bassiana, Fusarium cf. solani + limbah minyak nilam, Metarhizium anisopliae + limbah minyak nilam, dan Beauveria bassiana + limbah minyak nilam. Percobaan kedua secara dilakukan secara in planta menggunakan RAK dengan 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari, Fusarium cf. solani, Metarhizium anisopliae, Beauveria bassiana, Fusarium cf. solani + limbah minyak nilam, Metarhizium anisopliae + limbah minyak nilam, dan Beauveria bassiana + limbah minyak nilam, serta kontrol (air steril). Cara aplikasinya adalah suspensi jamur disemprotkan pada tanaman, kemudian setelah mengering disemprot dengan limbah minyak nilam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa limbah minyak nilam menghambat pertumbuhan jamur M. anisopliae, B. bassiana, dan F. cf. solani berturut+turut sebesar 4,34%, 9,95% dan 12,77%. Hasil percobaan in planta menunjukkan limbah minyak nilam dan atau jamur entomopatogen dapat membunuh WBC. Mortalitas tertinggi terjadi pada perlakuan jamur M. anisopliae sebesar 66,65%, disusul dengan kombinasi Fusarium cf. solani + limbah minyak nilam 65,025%. |
| Abtrak (Bhs. Inggris) | Patchouli oil waste and entomopathogenic fungi have potency as control agents on brown planthopper (BPH). The goals of research were to: 1) evaluate effect of patchouli oil waste on entomopathogenic fungi growth, 2) study effectiveness of patchouli oil waste and entomopathogenic fungi against BPH mortality. The research was conducted in November 2012 until April 2013 at Plant Protection Laboratory and screen house, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University. The research consisted of two trialss. The first trial used Randomised Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments are F. cf. solani, M. anisopliae, B. bassiana, F.cf. solani + patchouli waste, M. anisopliae + patchouli waste, and B. bassiana + patchouli oil waste. The second trial used RBD with 7 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment are F. cf. solani, M. anisopliae, B. bassiana, F. cf. solani + patchouli waste, M. anisopliae + patchouli waste, B. bassiana + patchouli waste, and control (sterile water). In this case, firstly entomopathogenic fungi were sprayed, after drying, patchouli oil wastes were sprayed to plants.The result showed that patchouli oil waste inhibited the growth of fungi M. anisopliae, B. bassiana, and F. cf. solani at a 4,34%, 9,95%, and 12,77%, respectively. Also, patchouli oil waste and or entomopathogenic fungi could kill BPH. The highest mortality of BPH occured on M. anisopliae treatment as many as 66,65% , followed combination of Fusarium cf. Solani + patchouli oil waste 65.025%. |
